My stock b16a pan leaks from where we installed the bung (had a perfect pan, friend hit something longstory) So i need to get a new pan and weld a bung or use a moroso where its already kinda setup. I guess the metal ones are better, either way its going to be a headache to make it work.

I might just buy a bnib honda pan and have a tig welder do it proper and add the baffles.

Yes, from the photo it looks to be well done.. and everything minus the bumper and headlights looks awesome. I just cant agree with it though, makes it look like its from the movie "Cars"!!

And Im going to guess that there is no hood on it.. because it has no hood.

 

i would buy it and cut it up for spare quarter panels.

Yes it is his car! A buddy of mine talked to the guy with the ek front crx, and he said he did it for more front end clearance. I guess he got 6 more inches with doing that... Why you wouldn't just use a whole ek chassis I don't know... lol

I saw it in person. Looks a lot better IRL. But he still molested the poor crx. Paint was done very well. The only flaw I noticed was that the front bumper doesn't line up properly to the fender. I'm not sure why it wouldn't if you measured and cut everything the way it should be.

Dude said its untuned, but running 31psi. LOL :facepalm:

anybody in the midwest free this weekend? our big event is this weekend, the west Michigan Honda Meet at gingerman raceway. we've also negotiated a 60$ test/tune session on friday evening...3 days in a row of tracking with your honda buddies!

On a side note, im in the local law enforecement center getting a victim theft report printed for my hatch and there was a lady sitting next to me. A couple cops come up to her and ask for her ID then proceed to tell her that she's going to be incarcerated for a bad check she wrote a LONG time ago for $15! Shes was totally dumbfounded. They put her in cuffs and everything. Glad my *** doesnt write checks! I've never been a big check writer. Even back before check cards and atms became popular.

The j swapped crx is a local guy! The thing sounds insane!! Its 5 lug too.

 

That thing is crammed in there though. I don't think I'd do that swap if I had the money. TOO MANY CLEARANCE ISSUES. I'd love to do a KRX though.

 

He's had that shell for a couple years now, and came across a wrecked cl type s for pretty cheap. Thats just his new toy, he has a 500+whp del sol thats his main project.

 

6" of clearance doen't justify what he has done...

 

That CRX would have been a neck-breaker in 2001.
