your turbo blanket is tough to take off? i bought one from an ebay-dude that appears to make them himself. has stainless hooks and two springs. off in two seconds. it was very reasonable too.
anybody else had this problem with rust inside the gas tank. It would run than die than start back up after you wait for about a min now it seems to not get no fuel pressure at all now.
it's easy to take on/off, think i got my turbo blanket from the same person on ebay, but it's the putting on around the downpipe flange that's the problem...space is too tight so it takes a while to get it all on and straight.
Its basically a social networking site. you have to add people by e-mail, there is no major friend directory..your choice of what people see what, you group people in "circles" and than decide which circles can see which posts....
post your e-mail and ill send you a link, it takes some getting used to. its invite only for now while its being tested out.

was wondering if anyone with a hatch could take a measurement of the roof from front to back side to side. and tell me what exact points you measured from.

made a "circle" for forum acquaintances, not like anyone can see your circles, I just found it easier to keep people separated. Basically just adding random people from NWP to see how it all works.. I kind of look at it as a big RANDOM thread in Facebook form. Not sure totally how I feel, will have more of an opinion as more local friends and what not get on it. If you have a email try it. It gets pretty empty and quiet though just b/c I haven't added many people. the more people you add the easier it is to understand how the circles work.

I think its too soon to tell, the more people that get on and use it the better I guess. It does have some cool features.. but facebooks footprint may be too deep to convert everyone. It needs some more options to find people, kinda like "groups" on facebook that people can like and then all socialize over that topic. Its different, maybe too different for the average social network ******!

Thought this was funny; after a 10 minute interview, the Porsche Club of America is letting me run with them on Saturday. Here's a shot of a small part of the participant list. When you see it...
now thats awesome, all porsche on the entire list, than you see the Lone CRX, lol. Time to PWN on some german engineering! lol

i ran with the mid ohio pca region last weekend. AWESOME group. real cool guys and are willing to bs. they will grow fond of the honda. i was doing to course walk and this guy which has a 996t(i had to ask what he was driving) says "i'm the amateur here, you are the professional. help me out." lol. i was talking with the head instructor and some of the other "volunteers" of the group out in the cold pits about a certain other organization. exhaust notes came up of which my car is in the category of BRAP! one guy says "yeah, i would say your car is loud." so don't let the porsche title fool you, they still love the ricers. also their advanced group is top notch too, couple guys in a silly fast turbo and another guy (older na 911 on contis paddocked next to me) were flying out there. i would slow just so they could catch me in corners and point them by there. never thought twice about it, clean, precise, and one heck of a blast. i saw some "hey im cool" attitude from a bmw group last year but never once saw it last weekend.
i made some friends and stuff with porsche dudes (serious dude with stacker trailers, wild 250,000$ RVs, etc.) at autobahn last year when i instructed for Chin Motorsports for the first time.. running for two days worth of sessions with GT3s and Vipers, ford GTs and crap like that was a highlight of my life. so fun.
high dollar guys are just like low buck schmucks. they are either into being on track and running and making friends, or into being into the car, and too-cool-for-the-room.
you get the same people with hondas, there just might be less too-cool's... but the track-***** dudes have neater cars, thats for sure.

Google+: social networking? no.... Collaboration tool? maybe.... make of it what you will, just a way to share your thoughts, ideas, and discoveries with groups of people who might actually care. Unlike setting your fb status to:"Got all up in that Vtak y0!!!" and having your grandmother tell you to watch your mouth.
Question:
Debating on selling my swap.
Because I have DA hubs and brake setup do I need swap those out if I go back the D series?
I really don't want to go through that again
