Does anyone know where I can get the dust boots for this manual steering rack rebuild? They are $60 a pair from any local dealership and $45 shipped from Majectic or hondapartsdeals seems ridiculous.

That's your issue right there then.
I used to ride on Zeals for an EG and was never able to get it any lower than yours is.
Switch to EF shocks/forks if you want to go lower.

Dont cheap out on those boots. I bought aftermarket one time and they tore within a year. Very disappointing and not because of the price, but because I would have to reinstall new ones. I hate doing the same job twice or more, lol.

Crap. I just ordered the ones from eBay for $16.50. Well hopefully since I probably won't be tracking the car and definitely won't be daily driving it, they'll last me a while.

i sucked it up and bought all the parts for a steering rack rebuild. I have a quaife rack and pinion to install. OEM parts add up quick, but it's a good feeling seeing all those red stickers.

thats strange for a full coilover to only go that low, maybe thats just the way they were built. buddy of mine had mugen low-downs on his ITR and it didnt lower it at all.

But if you want my opinion just sell them and get something proper for you car/desired setup, 'cause as soon as you start removing or cutting parts your gonna lose ride quality.
plus no way in hell would i start ****ing around with j's coilovers lol

My ksports will tuck tire from shock body adjustment. Dont have to mess with the spring at all.

Anyone want to buy them from me? $400 shipped. they need to be rebuilt. I cant afford to fix them right now, so I'm just going to use my lowering springs on some AGX's or something. Replacement shocks for them are $110 a piece. Check the ksport website to order replacements if you want. I'll sell the Ksport LCA's with them for an additional $125. 8K and 10K spring rates.

you like the supertrapp? i kinda dig it now..

it was too loud to drive with the 3.5'' turbo exhaust when i put a header on it...

so summit sent me that after i paid them 78 bucks... and i spent 5 minutes welding it right on the exhaust... now it'll probably be delightfully quiet with a turbo... and i can remove it in about 3 minutes.

SUPERTRAPP FOR LIFE

this talk about turbos gets me excited to put mine back on, and then build another setup

I'm looking for suggestions for a relatively cheap intake. I've heard I should by an intake made for an EK rather than an EF, probably due to the ridiculous bend meant to go around battery in EFs.

I vote for this. I had an AEM short ram on my '98 coupe years ago and it would fit great in an ef. The mount that's welded onto it should work as well...unless you go with a generic and just make your own mount.

I'm going to sell my AEM cold air that I had powdercoated black soon. It's too small for a b-series and being on the dyno 3 times still couldn't get vtec cross over to not dip. I'd sell it to you cheap, but I have to get a suitable replacement first.
