The Official EF Discussion Thread
Thanks Adam and the rest of the EF family. Always coming through.
That was my best guess as far as the busted disc. You just never know until you get the dang thing out and take a look inside.
Took a few mins and got the car in the air, and busted the axles loose a few days ago. Just havent gotten back to it yet. It's on Wed night.

My brother is wanting to sell his Tundra in favor of a Land Cruiser. You should PM me with all of the details on it. He's serious about traveling to find one.
new parts in my life...

I'd really recommend these, I have em on my car and I love them! kinda wish I'd have gotten the smoked version, but no complaints.

Bushings + Ball Joints + Corner Balance + Alignment = $550 out of my wallet

Compared to 750 + I've been quoted elsewhere.....cheap
One place quoted 730
JUST FOR THE BUSHING INSTALL

i cant wait to buy a set of corner scales... looking for a good used setup.
i love doing chassis setup. where are you from tahitian? TF does good work....but have you got a price from profunction?

and I'm directly between Madison and Milwaukee WI
profunction is kinda THE honda shop in chicago...they are busy, and might take a bit..but they are good mechanics.
tell mike or pat that stupid fat dutch adam jabaay sent you....they'll probably charge you more. haha
its a lot of labor to do all that stuff though..and a shop charging 550 realistically is pretty fair. didnt know you were so close man, i'm right on the south side.

Yeah $550 isn't bad...I was expecting at least $300ish for the corner balance tbh

How often do most of you guys adjust your clutch cable? I feel like I need to turn it once or twice every so often just to get the car easily in gear, otherwise its a hard push and a slight clunk in. Just wondering b.c I dont want to go too tight.
i only adjust it when putting a new motor in
but seriously, i've never adjusted mine. i wonder if it has to do with the way you drive? i know i shift like a granny
