i leave the vc open, and i have the two lines of the bottom of the block to the can. I run a filter on top, it just helps with vapor. If u want you can run a checkvalve and pull vacuum there.

I like all this talk. It's making me want to order a new catch can tonight and finally get my set-up installed.
This may be a dumb question.. but I usually ask those. Does the height of the catch can matter.. I feel like I usually see catch cans mounted higher up, as in higher than the motor. I was wondering if it would be possible to mount a catch can in a place like maybe where the washer reservoir used to be? but is that too low? Excuse me if this is a stupid question, just thinking of places to mount it and not have it stick out so much.
Boosted... I like how hidden yours is here and I love this picture.

I had mine bolted down to the driver side motor mount bracket. The higher the better. The lower it is, the easier it is for oil to fill up the container.
From what I read, if you have it drain back like in the picture I have show, then it needs to be higher. A friend of mine has his vented off the front of the valve cover and his is sitting right there at the washer fluid. He also has one on the back that’s venting off the block and it sits kind low. As far as I know, he hasn’t had any problems.
I was going to sell the suspension off the car this weekend, but the way everyone is talking we might not have power then..
So far there is 2 inches of ice on the roads, interstates are closed, and they say up to 20 inches of snow.. So hopefully they are wrong!!

seriously not to toot my own horn but that pic does the bay ZERO justice. People when they see it always agree. Etiher way the can height doenst matter unless you are draining it back (too low and it wont drain OFC), basically vapor moves from the hot spot to a cooler spot and condenses. I tried to keep the bay clean when doing it.
In other news i wish it was warm out, i really wanna work on my car to help me cope with whats going on in life now, but i guess late jan early feb are statistically the coldest times, so its getting warmer from here on out.
EDIT, my crx is actually running, so its ready to go come springs (minus getting some wheels)

I'm already over this weather! Winter sucks.
Damn I would love to have a day in the 50's!! haha this whole town is freaking out about this weather! The stores were packed, along with the gas stations.
i just dropped a bunch of money on a track weekend half-a country away at VIR, for april 23/24 (trackdaze.com)
cannot wait.
spent all day sunday going through suspension...now i have to spend a week over at the "real" shop (our big garage w/lift/welders), and fab up a new rear sway bar mount, turbo manifold, exhaust, gas pedal (to make heel-toe a bit easier...bit closer and a bit further right), battery mount, overflow, etc.
itll be a fun week.

Short story: Old boss of mine had this real nice corvette, I realized his license plate said WDNGRING..but I knew he wasn't married. So I had to ask.. Long story short.. She said no, he said oh well.. returned the ring and bought a Vette. said the Vette is yet to disappoint him!
This has been my day so far:
9 A.M. wake up pissed off.
9:10 Go outside to a disaster
10:15 Finally get to work after a solid hour of scraping my car off, and breaking 2 scrapers
10:32 Finally inside the building, and pissed off because I am cold.

Weather round here's been great till middle of last night. Cold front blew in with freezing rain and dropped us to the 20's. Expected to hit 12 for a low
I know many of you will come back with subzero temps, but this is Austin, Texas dammit!!!
