Its not good to run your car out of gas, it could burn up the fuel pump. The lowest I will let my tank get is a 1/4 tank.

 

I dont know if this has been mentioned yet but you should double check the timing.

 

I've heard that running it low can wear them out quickly, but I've daily driven with my 255lph walb for about 4 years with no problems other than it wont use every drop of gas in the tank. I've used 10.5 gallons once but I had to coast into the station even though the tank holds "11.9" gallons. I consistently use 8.5-9 gallons without issues.

I had an 89 dx that didn't have one, my 91 si doesn't have one, my dad's 89 four door dx doesn't have one...I'd like to wire one up since I have a gsr cluster in my car.

 

I think I'm getting another ef hatch. I'm trading my built sohc turbo swap for a obd1 converted, b20 swapped ef. sound fair?
