that was a useless answer. He wants to know if it will bolt up and if everything will fit, obviously.

ive seen a sedan bumper on a hatch, and a EF9 bumper on a wagon, i know the sedan fenders wont fit on a hatch and the hoods are slightly different, but the bumper and headlights might

I was just saying anything will fit, gotta be more specific

And I think four door bumpers are different than hatches cause i sold a hatch si lip to a buddy who had a four door and it was just a tad to short, by like a quarter inch or so

Yes, you can modify anything to "fit", but I'm pretty sure he wasn't alluding that that was his intention. the hatch and sedan front ends are VERY similar. I can barely tell a difference in them. They both have the trim piece over the bumper, headlights are shaped the same or very close...Only differences I could think of would be hood and fenders, maybe...and as you mentioned something about the bottom of the bumpers being a different shape(lengthwise). Maybe they are just different between the years?

Sorry if I come off as an *** towards you man. I'm just sick of people giving replies like that.

Lucky you didnt blow the engine up due to oil starvation. Everything is toast after that.

The B20 is just going to be temporary until I get the B16b’s block refreshed. Needs to get honed and new rings.

If/when I start to go after sponsors for the track, then I’ll paint it

You can use any B series oil pan. You just have to use the corresponding oil pickup. I'm not sure if any of them are the same or not...

You can fix that one, The key it to take it off and make it 110% dry then weld it followed by jb weld.

You could make the bumper fit pretty easily, but the fenders and hood will not directly bolt on. The hatch bumper, like someone said, is an inch or so shorter on each end than the sedan bumper. Putting a hatch front end on a sedan is possible, but it's certainly not a bolt-on affair. As far as the fenders, I think the hatch and sedan fenders would have to be cut and welded together. I'm not sure what is involved with the headlights and corner lights, but I think the radiator support would have to be swapped, too.

Entire EF9 front end on sedan (lots of work from what I've heard)...

EF9 bumper only (maybe filler, too) on sedan...

That’s the plan. Showed a friend of mine the pic and he said to refer to my valve cover for his comment lol

Anyone have pics of an EF9 bumper only on an EF hatch?

Also for whoever was interested, there is a set of new silver RPF1's for sale in RR/AX for $740.

i think its pretty whack mixing front ends up. you can run a sedan bumper on a hatchback which is no difference running a ef9 bumper on a sedan.

only things different is the 4x 12mm bolts for sedan
and 4x 10mm bolts for the hatchback
