any suggestions for a good, medium priced 3" conical airfilter? im contemplating the blox velocity stack/filter combo.....but im scared the filter will dwarf my sohc in the bay. but i want something different aside from the k&n.

 

anyone have a good link for a diy on rewiring an obd2 b16 engine harness to convert it to obd1? every guide i have come across is pretty vague.

 

My recent HPDE1 even was sooooooo sick! I'd highly recommend it to anyone. Like a few people said, just let go of your ego, learn and have fun. You go in and have a class, track time, go back to class and talk about things, repeat. I met my cars and my own driving skills capabilities by the end of the day. Extremely fun and learned a TON!

i have the diagrams to repin the alternator at the shop. and the distibutor is pretty straight forward. i dont think anything else is much different. except the location of the IAT. and there is no ckf on the obd1 block.

I was trying to take video with my buddies Go Pro but fawked it up and took a funny snapshot I do have some "in-car" videos of the track, but it takes for ever to load those up. So maybe I can get around to doing that some day.

 

i did my first HPDE about 6 years ago, and it CHANGED MY LIFE FOREVER.

i'll never look at driving the same. i LOVE tracking

CBE the blox is cool, My friend put one on an em1, and said it felt a lot better. I would check craigslist for one.. I'm sure you can find them cheap on there.

 

Sax- Looks like a good experience. I dont know about the letting the guy drive the car, I would be a little iffy about that too!
