yeah true but having time is different. I don't want to have to pay someone to things I can do. Thats the only thing I want to stay away from.

That is usually a lot easier than reversing everything you've already done. When I bought my '89 Si CRX it was riced out hard core and it took me months just to return it to decency. Not saying yours is rice, but it's probably not setup for the track, as you already suggested.
mine is turning 5 this month.
I was thinking sell my car and buy another stock std.
My car is basically show built with some minor "track" parts. It mostly needs suspension stuff but I wouldn't want to track it because of all the "show parts"
and I don't want to take on another headache car trying to get it up to par.

only if you promise to take care of it

but seriously the Mugen front and bumper is already posted for sale. I'm done with shows and I'll never make mag. just because everyone knows the history of my car from my build thread and I don't have money to get a "fresh *** bling bling" paint job just for a mag shoot. I just want to enjoy my car now kind tired of trying to be the best or have the one off only parts.

At one point I was hoping to find someone who could make a mould of the Mugen cover so I can resell it in a limited quantity to "select" few. But I have yet to find someone who is willing to do it.

thanks a lot guys.

So why not make the k20 more streetable rather then swap back? i'd imagine the car is still pretty rough, just slower, on the street with the b-series in it. is the car still stripped, no windshield wipers, and no a/c?

really? that sucks. stupid people.

some buddies in my industry (glass/windows/building maintenance) got robbed at gunpoint the other day at a jobsite right next to the one i was at. one guy jumped up, ran in the building, and the 15year old kids w/guns shot at him. didnt hit him though.

yup, thats south chicago, where guns are illegal (basically). haha

That is so stupid!! I'm applying for my permit to carry today on lunch. I bought a gun awhile back, and I just have been putting it off, but this opened my eyes, and made me get off my ***.

Damb Jolly, Any reason someone pulled a knife on you? car related?!? Like trying to steal it?
Be careful with the carrying thing... may make you feel safe, but may become a bad idea once its pulled. just hang with a solid crowd. keep good company!

A lot of crime goes down in NY... Ive learned to just choose wisely who I'm with and who I hang around. Watched my fair share of fights go down, which always leads to retaliation at some point, friends getting stabbed, crackheads getting beat up trying to steal stupid stuff, ****.. I had about 10cops chasing a dude down through my backyard years ago.. Made me realize I dont ever wanna get caught up in that stuff. Just being around it will get ya in trouble.
Cant say I never break laws (ex:speeding, cough puff, puff cough...) just not in a violent/immoral way! I keep a small pipe in the car and the video camera rolling and the 12 gauge ready for my safety at home now.. as long as me, my mother and my cars are strait, Im good!

On an EF note... Its time for me to clean out the garage, think its time to sell some of the spare parts instead of being a hoarder! I know Im not the only one hoarding parts though... I just know as soon as I part with something I will find a way to need it again! I think I have about 8 donut tires stacked next to 8 crx si rims, none of which I will ever use Im sure!
...sorry for all the ranting! pouring rain and stuck inside!

I need two a/c delete grommets for an EF. Anyone have any or know which models didn't have a/c so I can order some?

I think A/C was an option on most Hondas in 1991, If I remember correctly.. It was an option for a while b.c I remember a lot of the old timers at the dealership telling me stories about installing A/C units in brand new cars back in their day.

Edit*- I forgot you have an LX (top of the line in 91) which comes with a/c, just look up your car in DX version, should be what your looking for.

but either way... e-bay may be cheaper, this says its "oem" and he's got a bunch available.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ht_1621wt_1165

Another Edit* Heel toe has em cheaper...
http://www.heeltoeauto.com/product.p...0&cat=0&page=1

Last Edit*.... forget e-bay and heel toe, OEM PART NUMBER: 90851-SB2-000 and its cheaper.

We were just chillin with a few people in a park, and this dude came up drunk as ****, calling us pussies and ***gots, then one thing lead to another, and he pulled out his knife.. lol the group I hangout with is awesome, noone gets into trouble, or does anything bad.

I had my piece with me the entire time we did our road trip out to IL for the ITR EXPO for that exact reason. I was going to be over a thousand miles away from home and not know where I was going to be or who I was going to encounter. I said F*CK the individual state gun laws and would deal with law enforcement if it ever came up. I wasnt going to let anything happen to me or my car.

let me rephrase: my car isn't so important to me that i need to carry a gun and risk going to prison. that's part of the reason why i have insurance.

If you shoot someone for trying to steal your stuff, you won't go to prison. Especially if they pull a weapon on you. Self defense man. Personally, I wouldn't aim to kill someone with a gun, but I would definitely make it hurt. I'll be investing in a good pump action 12 gauge and a couple handguns in the near future. Obama is really screwing this country up and I'm not going to be one of the few people without a way to defend myself after he makes owning arms illegal.

Blu- Im sorry but your Insurance company would give you pennies for an old civic/crx. I dont agree with carrying a gun around at all times, but on a roadtrip like that, I would feel a lot safer having some protection.

b16crxT- You gotta be careful shooting people in self defense still. I am unsure of each states rules and what not. I do know that in NY I cant shoot an intruder in my house in the back, has to be head on, so they see it coming pretty much... but its still a fine line. Honestly, at that point, I would shoot and answer questions later! I was very against guns for a while actually, but I for-see our government and society ruining America and rioting, protesting, and civil war beginning.. so a 12 gauge is great home defense. I shot an AR-10 (little bigger than an AR-15) last week.. I would like to own one of those, but guns are expensive!!

Guns and Tattoo's kill the wallet. The EF's dont help either!

you can get extra insurance, like so many thousand over the value of your car to be paid when/if something happens.

and all this talk about the government is kinda funny. i'm sure men of old were saying the exact same thing about any president or person in office that bought up gun control
