I think its BS that they charge for R&D that they have never done... All I have to say about them.

I'm just gonna make my own bracket using some 10 or 12 gauge steel plates cut to shape.
Anyone used a wilwood or other aftermarket clutch master? I plan on using the wilwood unit.
Edit: nevermind, it doesn't have a remote reservoir.
IF SOMEONE IN CENTRAL TEXAS HAS $1150 LAYING AROUND!!!!

in crome/ectune/ ect. you can set up vtec to engage with certain levels of vaccum or % throttle. my dad cruises at 70 @ 4500 but his change over is at 4k (it was making power on the big cam at 4k weird) so cruising at part throttle its not engaged but mash on it and it engages
Holla at your boy! its my bday today...
So last night I was going to treat myself to a present after I came across a Craigslist ad with someone selling a "Modified B16 head" for $200. The LMA's in my B16 head sound like a fawking typewriter so I figured I check it out for those alone.
Get there and its got a fake mugen valve cover on it, which I showed him why it was fake
He was a little bum'd out after figuring that out and was selling that seperately anyway. HA! It had some slight port work done on the intake side of things and was stamped PR3-4. Had Skunk2 Tuner Series adjustable cam gears. That was pretty much all I could tell from that point. Figured what the hell...200 bones for a clean head.
I get it home and do some more digging.
Stock 28/33 mm valves...check.
Dual valve springs, yellow/blue...check!!
WTF! Type R cams....CHECK!!!
I have come to the conclusion that this is a genuine Type R head! The head was recently hot tanked and cleaned so the green markings accosiated with truely identifying this is long gone. But it all makes sence...PR3-4 stamp, slight port work, dual valve springs, type r cams...
So in my mind I am going to consider this a true gem...

True. I had my b16 trans on an ls. Crusiing in vtec would really suck.
That's one reason why news of the k series 6 spd trans was a dream come true when I first heard of it.
If the cable b16 transmissions had a 6th gear that would be perfect.
If I were racing someone from 1st thru 5th and it's a close race in the beginning, Id bet they pull ahead once I put it into 5th, lol.
that depends on what you are looking @ it from.
Racing yeah
freeway awesome
also depends on on what motor you have too
with just a tad bit more torq. with my b18 and my LS tranny I can still get up in rpms pretty fast in 5th gear just mashing the pedal. It feels that way just because I have a bit more power but I'm sure it still a slower climb then a y1,s1, or j1 tranny.
Just got in from cleaning up the garage! there is still alot to do.. but my goal is to get the garage done so I cant take my front end off, and start fitting the jdm front! It depends alot on the weather.. lol a bunch of crap needs to go to the shed but if it keeps snowing like it is it probally wont get done. lol
i just got my ef and i was thinking of getting a yakima bike rack im not into writing my bike but i think it would look good with it what do you guys think?
