I would imagine after doing that a custom fuel set-up would be in store (fuel cell?)
Maybe a smaller/lighter tank as well...?

and why stop at just the rear.. why not the floor pans as well!!!?!!

If you start cutting all the pans out of the car, you better look into doing a tube frame or some other type of reinforcements...

Does anybody have a spare pedal assembly that they would want to sell? My friend is doing a hydro conversion on his wagon, and the clutch pedal is different on a wagon, and will not work with this kit. Let me know!! Thanks.

I really need to test drive one. But it's really not a car I'm interested in for the power all though its a nice change from my hatch.
Was talking to a guy who told me just spend the exta money and get a STi. But with stage 2 kit I can get STi numbers but I'm stuck with the 5 speed tranny. As a honda owner I'm having a hard time spending an extra 5-6k on one more gear and about 50whp more...

thats actually long term plan for me...but not a "cell" sitting in the back of the car , i want to build a custom aluminum or stainless cell and stick it under the car, using the factory fuel fill, and pump assembly, but make it "sumped" so the pump is sitting in a cavity, and cannot run dry in hard corners (had it happen at the track twice this year...full boost, and all the sudden my AFRs go nuts...i think thats what hurt ringlands in the engine). i ran a full tank of gas after that.

i'm just looking to lighten the car a bit (putting a full cage in it, i cut out the roll bar this fall). i'm gutting the bars in the doors, doing harnesses instead of the door-mounted belts, and i've always thought of cutting out the spare tire well. its the only "rusty" part of the car. thanks for the pic jollygreen...

So i'm selling all my B series part, Hasport motor mounts, shift linkage what not to rebuild my D16a6.

It's just going to be stock and boosted.

Now i know horror stories about Ebay turbo kit.

Due to low funds right now please someone help me out which kit i should buy.

I know the usually saying don't go cheap and save up for a good quality kit, bleh.

This is going to be my daily driver so low psi is all i need.

I know good tuning is recommended.

Stock block/head is going for 200hp only, nothing crazy.

I really like the D-series because cheap parts are always available and what now.

Thanks EF'er.

HF manifold, adapter to a dsm 14b, and a front mount, some piping, and dsm 450 with obd1 and some sort of tuning should get to 200 easy, junk yard style, as noone makes a carb legal EF chassis specific turbo "kit" except the greddy/edelbrock routes and they are $$

Thank you kindly.

I'm planning to stay obd0 with like street tune.

Will i need a slim radiator for clearance? I know i will have to relocate the battery.

yeah, but you have to have a 4 wire o2 to datalog, with BRE so you might as well swap the distributor and convert to obd1 to open you choices up for a base map and tuning software, just a suggestion.

prolly wont need a slim fan, but the battery relocation is a good idea.
