Chris can have the hood, but I want the fender flares.
And how do you stop with 9.5" brakes? Easy. Better pads and fluid. It's that simple.

Do you think they will be enough for a 500whp crx? What pads do you recommend? Also is the DA booster/mc a good idea?

If thats the case then you need to figure out the real issue as to why its running so hot just daily driving, what exactly is your issue?

thats the thing
its not overheating. my temp stays @ a constant. But after about 10-15 minutes of driving I feel excessive heat traveling from the engine compartment through the vents. And when I pop my hood after I drive it feels a lot hotter in the engine bay then my other car. I was thinking of adding another fan. I haven't had a chance to actually measure the amount heat of heat. But I will soon.

You should not have any "excessive" heat just driving around, you need to fix the issue at hand and not bandaid the problem by buying a hood thats probaly not even going to solve the problem...

James, do you have a accurate temp gauge? One that actually moves, not a stock one?? Might be a good investment
If you ever break 200 ish you have a coolong prob

basically the car warms up, then the tstat opens to let the car stay a certain temp. If yours doesnt open, it will just keep rising. Its only a 15 dollar part, and make sure you bleed out the air, air can [freak] **** up like brakes.

ITS AS ACCURATE AS I KNOW
IT MOVES WHEN THE VEH. STARTS TO WARM UP
IT DOESN'T JUST RISE SOON AS I START THE CAR.
I HAVE ME FAN HOOKED UP TO THE IGNITION SO IT STAYS ON ALL THE TIME, I DON'T KNOW IF THAT CRATES A PROBLEM OR NOT W/ THE TEMP. READING.

Am I the only one in here that is deeply saddened gabef8 is giving up? I really wanted to see it done. I think I am gonna close the store for a few min, and burn one down in memory of his project. He told me once he had 5k in aero parts. It sucks to see all that work, and money go to waste.
From now on, no one is allowed to half build crxes. Stick with it or shoot yourself. No more parting out BS, unless it is making way for bigger and better things, like Ryan has done. The new project must be a crx though, otherwise it isn't better.

Arguably, finishing the project is when money gets wasted. That is called investing in something with a negative return. You might as well buy GM stock at this point.

I suppose better is a relative term. I scrapped my project in favor of an investment with a postitive return. In six months its already yielded a 4% return. I would call that better.

It's obvious you've never had someone close to you take their own life or you wouldn't throw that phrase around so carelessly.

Ya man, I was totally bummed! I tried looking for his thread! Where is it?
And James, im saying, get a 30 dollar accurate temp gauge so you can see your actual temp.
