I am most certainly not getting into any of that fad. No crazy wheels and camber for me. I'm running a staggered set-up for the track. Just need to install my J's fender flares up front and pick up the 949's. Will be running 225/45 front and std. 205/50 rear. Should help the car rotate a bit more and hopefully keep them front tires planted (my ITR LSD sucks ***).

However, yes, I will be picking up wider lip stunna rims for the street/car meets.

Edit: I've been pwning new pages lately.

Yessir and install was a breeze! I love where it puts the radiator as well! It is now lower by almost an inch and about 1/4" away from the condensor.
<------Very pleased

I'll go take a pic from that POV in a few minutes. I don't think it was any lower than the bracing I had welded to my cross member before. You can definitely see it hanging down though.

These are the best I could get...
The header still is a bit lower than the bar though, so it's not too low.

And some of the reinforcements I did on the stock one.

B16CRXT- what kinda header do you have that hangs lower then that? that was the only thing i liked about the innovative bar hanging so low was that it would hit the ground before my header or oil pan would.

It's an rmf narrow replica. It is just barely lower than the bar. Do u jack the front end up by the bar? Just curious if it's sturdy enough like the stock crossmember to use as a jacking point?

I know the guy from Innovative who does the CAD designing. He assured me that it's "okay" to jack up the car from the bar...just don't rest the car on it or anything. Glad you like it.

Hmm, use it as a jacking point but dont let it rest on it? I dont think I like the sound of that. Although my Jimfab bar looks like it take whatever you throw at it, I havent used it as a jacking point, mainly because I dont want to chip the powdercoat (even with a cushion, the jack pad ears can still pierce thru). Instead, I do each side at a time or just throw it on my lift, hehe.

yea, I would only do it long enough to get jack stands under the car, so it would be 'resting' on the jack for about 1-2 minutes. If I jacked each side up separately, I worry about the jack stand on one side tipping. Just an idea that freaks me out.

Me either, but I HATE jacking a car up one side at a time for the front. Soooo, it's the only option I like. Like I said, I was given piece of mind that it's "okay."

My full race bar sits pretty high up.. im happy with it. wasnt happy cutting some of my stock lower rad mount out, but it sits real cleanly in there now.

Anyone using a CTR pulley? saw one this weekend at a show and thinking of picking one up, no AC or PS anyway.. just wondering if anyone has any experience with them on a gsr? I know its a waste of money, but it looks clean!

Waste of money? I wouldn't say it is. Less rotating mass on yo rotating mass fo sho

I run one on my GSR. You will hear speculation that it is "bad" for your motor as it is not a nicely dampened and balanced piece, but if CTRs use them, why the f*ck not use one?

I had a ctr pulley. They are ok for non build motors since they lack a dampner. Since then i have installed an ATI unit

you're better off shaving the ps and a/c pulleys off of your stock pulley. then you don't need to buy a new belt or worry about shattering your oil pump. that's my opinion.

thats what I was thinking... CTR uses them, it cant be all that bad! the dampening factor is the only thing that makes me skeptical*

That ATI unit is more for built motors correct? and wayyy too pricey for me right now.
