just make sure you have no exhaust leaks. I ran 2.25 piping w/ no res. and stock OEM Si Muffler and it sounded great. Little low buzz but nothing over powering. Our Chassi don't have a lot of interior parts to keep out most of the news for any sort of modification but you'll be pleased.

But on a serious note. I need some help ASAP
if anyone has a D series transmission mount plate I need it ASAP.
I'm about to sell my HCP mount kit to someone and I want to give them a spare D series transmission mount plate.
You may have one laying around if so hit me up
619 339 5728
you can donate it if you REALLY don't need it or have any issue for it
That would be awesome

Looks like this

Blanks is the way to go.

Hey nick, starting to piece that RedShift Exhaust together finally, decided to go full stainless on the whole thing(nuts, bolts, flanges, piping, resonators). There site says its down, something happen to there company?

Was wondering how many people are using that flex coupler piece in there exhaust? (the braided/flexible piece right after the header usually)

I must have missed that. I didn't miss the new pics of your bay though...looks great. Very simple, which I like.

Hotsauce- Not sure what happened to them. I know they were concentrating on their blowers, but don't know what's going on. Sounds like your exhaust should work pretty well and will be a lot cheaper!!!

I've got to start working on something super quiet so I can run at Laguna Seca again. It'll probably be 2.25 inch with 2 resonators and a super quiet muffler with the tip going straight out the side (away from sound booth).

yeah, not cheaping out.. just trying to save the pennys where I can. Built>bought

Do you have any experience with one of those small race mufflers? Ive seen a couple new designs coming out and even checked out some muscle mags to get an idea of what they use (besides glasspacks) and they have resonator style mufflers which I was unaware of. I hope that running two vibrant resonators doesnt just sound like an open header.

How is the track season out in california in the "winter"?
Winter in NY shuts the car world down, but we get snow..

Just running two vibrant resonators is loud as hell. I had that setup and made it similar to the red shift exhaust (before I ever heard of them lol). It was loud, but I liked it. It sounded great. I say do the two resonators and one WS II universal muffler or something. Those race mufflers aren't anything but glasspacks or resonators.

i couldn't imagine water damaging that battery anyway. you'd have to drive through a puddle bigger then a CRX can handle. the battery would be on a long list of concerns.

i had my battery in the lockable "storage compartment" behind the front seats.

hit me up. I have a new phone and don't have your number in there

Also the plate is not from a D series. In fact I don't know where it from. But it bolts to the B series transmission for the HCP adapter plate. I need help Identifying if possible.
And the tranny...oohhh the tranny
I don't know what I'm going to do anymore. I'm starting to give up on my car.
I don't even drive it anymore

We were talking about exhausts the other day. I took a sound clip of mine, but I can't attach it and I don't know where to host it. If someone can help me out, I'd love to post it up. My exhaust is a rmf narrow replica header to a 2.5" resonator and just past the shift linkage it bottlenecks down to 2.25" and goes out an OE replacement muffler with a 2.25" in/out.

Redshift Idle...pretty loud for an idle:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zMfsRCAv6z4

A few crappy revs. The sound quality is ****, but I drove my car around for the first time in months last night (all problems began when I tried doing that STUPID hydro conversion) and it's loud as ****. Listen to my fuel pump too...

what do you guys think;

better flowing exhaust (2.5" tri-y header all the way back with hi-flo cat)

or

Buddy Club Spec III cams and an ITR header?

or

not change a thing; keep my B16b stock with dc 4-2-1 header and 2.25" exhuast

I don't know man...neither one will make a night and day difference. Know what I mean? You MIGHT feel a little more power in the butt dyno, but what else are you looking at spending your dough on? Maybe you want to step up to R*comps on track...or better brakes...or better suspension?

But...that wasn't really your question. I'd probably go cams, but then you need gears and tuning too.
