But...that wasn't really your question. I'd probably go cams, but then you need gears and tuning too.
i'm going to kep using street tires till i get a little better...but i already have cam gears in route, my D2's are still great, and tuning is already accounted for. not sure what i'm gonna do though

In that case, I stick with my vote...cams and ITR header.

Lolz. well the zebra lip is just me being me i guess. and the badge is just a gift. Ad i just assumed it was an LX. Cause it's still in tact on the hatch. And thanks on the compliment bro. It's good for me just being 17.

Anyone want a set of "carbon fiber" altezza tails for the 88-91 crx? You can have them if you pay for shipping. lol They've been sitting in my building for years.

Fun popping in here after a few months. Looks like the few & true are still playing strong with their EF's. I don't want one again for a while, but it's neat to see others whom are still goin strong.

here's the m at night

haven't modded it besides the wheels/tires/suspension lol it doesn't need much

Decent clips.. is the Redshift on in your buttinwillow video as well?
I just ordered everything I should need for the exhaust.(piping, resonators, flanges, hardware, gaskets and a flex coupler) All stainless.. got some U and J bends in stainless along with 10ft of straight stainless all 2.5inch. Im going to use the U and J mandrel bent pipes to cut and TIG it all up so I dont have to go to a Exhaust shop for pipe bending. I'll be sure to take some pics and clips. Should have enough material to make two!

Im in the market for a new battery.. Trying to avoid the high priced odyssey, Ive had good experience with an Optima red top, but its about 3 years old now and has seen a couple different cars. My battery is relocated to a battery box in the trunk (sealed with a vent to the outside) Thinking of going with a Yellow top or Braille(for weight)... Just seeing what you guys were running or recommend?

I'm going to pick up a deka sealed battery. My buddy has been running his for a while now (I believe its half a year) and hasn't had a problem yet. Mine is old so i figure why not get a lighter newer battery aswell.

I've had my HeelToe Auto batter for over 3 years now. I've had to charge it quite a few times. I solved the drainage problem when I installed my battery kill switch. No drainage now...

And yes, the redshift exhaust is on in the BW video.

Ive had really good luck with Optima red tops. The one in my hatch is from March of '04 and still going strong. I've never let it go completely dead, but every now and then I will put my battery tender on it if I know the car will sit for a few weeks. Sometimes I'll forget but the car will always start fine. Love it, except for its weight.

I think Im going to go with a red top again just because of a good experience so far. the weight sucks, but its reliable to me. Only other option ive been contemplating is a Braille (non carbon fiber version, same weight and performance just no flashy finish) I just have not heard any reviews on them or have seen anyone using one. The car wont see everyday street use, mainly track and would most likely sit on a charge. too many battery options!

Have not had a chance to get them mounted up yet, still putting suspension together and building a beater b16 rex. will definitely post pics when everything is put together.

I think you'll be fine with whatever you choose, just be sure to use a tender on it if the car will sit for longer than a week or so. Batteries hate to sit for long periods of time. Its better to use them every day versus once a month without a tender.

Im sure this has been discussed in here before but im in the market for a front crossmember. Can you use a half radiator with the innovative competition bar or is the innovative crossmember replacement bar the only one that has the option to run a half radiator. And which one would yall recommend I remember seeing somewhere that there were problems with the heim joints wearing out rather quickly with the competiton bar.

I went the Full Race route as well...

Just finished the head studs, head gasket, thermo, all other little gaskets and what not on the b16 in my daily.. the guy I bought it from has some ghetto-fab on the throttle cable... whats the proper cable and bracket (type r?) used for a b16a in a crx (stock I/M)?

I just took one of a single cam intake manifold, cut it and welded to it.

Ummm, the "regular" crossmember is the one that hangs down low and allows you to run the taller half-radiator from an EG. The competition bar butts right up to the stock radiator mounting points. I run the Innovative competition bar so I'm biased. I know the CAD designer well.

The Full Race is super nice too. The main difference is mounting points. The full race bar mounts to the tow hook points which limits you if you're running a custom splitter (since those are the mount points you'll want to use).

Never heard of the heim joints wearing out quickly though. They wear over time, but haven't heard that.

I think either way you choose you're fine

I have the "regular" cross-member, it fits good. I hardly ever scrape it on anything. One thing that you can do is use it to mount a skid plate, to protect a header or down pipe. Also, I'm not a fan of the bushings they offer, the ES ones look better.
