yeah I banged it but its still to close for comfort. Has there ever been any issues with some running a shorter belt??</TD></TR></TABLE>
You can run a shorter belt, but just make sure you still have some adjustment left in the alternator. You have to be able to pivot the alternator towards the block a little in order to get the belt on. So, if the belt is too short, you may not be able to tilt it far enough to get the belt over the pulley? Follow? Or just bang the sheet metal in a bit more. The hasport kit doesn't require that much of a dent to be made. You pay extra for the engineering.
Oh, and yellow is my least favorite ef color, but that ^ car is very nice.

the motor mount set up is tempory.
It works for noe but after some extra money comes in I'm going to end up redoing it over again.

I took this from your photobucket. I am assuming it's your car. That is very close. Too close for my comfort. It appears that you have bashed in the metal as much as I did. I guess as long as it doesn't rub you are ok.

A/C guys, just vac'd the system and it is air tight, but when i am at idle or at a stop light (any time when my foot isn't on the gas) the compressor (i think, or something in the close vacinity) starts ticking loudly. It is a new compressor and engages/works properly. Any idea?
hey thanks for the props
want to see the hiney?

i got mad **** left to do. a wire tuck and fuel system tuck are next after the supercharger... and then there's the coilovers, EX brakes...it goes on and on foreveR!
