Yes but it is too short. Would not work with a K and the tranny is on the other side closer to the clutch so it will definitly not work in a EF. I would look at older pre DA tegs, and EAs, and maybe some old accords, and ludes of the late, and early 80's.
</TD></TR></TABLE>
I will take a look the next time I go to the junkyard, there are plenty of old accords and others that I could try some cables from. The only reason I want it shorter is mine is shoved under the IM and I had to snake it around to make it work. With all of the added curves and a stiff pressure plate its probably wearing out super fast.

BTW Mek, why no love for the K? It will be in Cali in august, but I doubt the DD will ever make it out, unless I move there. You can have a ride in th K car though. U going to CRXPO?

Yeah should be. It will probably be similar to my Colt, but much better looking, and more reliable.

Or you can spend the extra money from the vtec conversion kit that's needed and buy a bare gsr block then run the LS crank and rods and not have to worry about oil leaks. GSR blocks are cheap, Ive seen them go for $200-$300 with mains.
I think if you are going to do the non vtec bottom with a vtec head you are better off stepping it up and going b20/vtec. A stock bottom b20/vtec with mild ported head and good cams and you are well over the 200whp mark.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Yeah but b20vtec is gay for boost unless u have sleeves. You can make 300+whp on a 81mm ls block

Yeah I was talking about an NA setup. Boosting is a whole other set of rules!

Heater can be. A/C no not at this point. Vega should get a light gun to use for a shifter.

That would be awesome...
I have seen that valve cover before. I would love to get one for my b18...where can I find one anyways.

Really?
I mean I guess I could paint it myself but it would be alot easier just to buy one.

HAHA...well hell I didnt know what he looked like. Thanks for clearing that up for me though.
</TD></TR></TABLE>HAHA...well hell I didnt know what he looked like. Thanks for clearing that up for me though.
i need some pics of ground clearance.
4-1 headers on ef's with hasport or az race mounts.
headers i am looking for but clearance is a huge issue: hytech/spoon/camp1320/rage/f1spec/smsp/jdm R.
i will be running a gsr in whatever hatch i locate and am looking at getting a decent header. ideally i would like a hytech since it ahs the best gains but if i end up flattening the bottom of it and it goes down a few ponies in the process-then i should have bought the one that made a few hp less but had better clearance/will take less abuse.
if you ahve one of these headers please take a shot of the underside of your car for me from the front end and then a side shot so i can see what your ride height is.
please

I would avoid a 4-1 on a b-series in an ef. Just about all of them including the ITR headers have only about 1" of ground clearance. Of course this depends on how low your car is. I have yet to see a 4-1 that doesnt hang below the oil pan, this can never happen unless you use like 1" tubing.

that's my fear on the ones likt he jdm R and the mugen. but the hytech/f1spec/spoon are a little different in the way tehy come together at the end. they are a tri-y but the merge is down below teh oil pan. therefore when tehy come under tehy are pretty snug to the pan (esp on 1.8l with the 8.9mm taller deck height). these are teh ones i am more focused on...but i haven;t seen anyone running one yet.

Even the tri y's hang belowe the pan a little. The best header I have seen as far as power and clearance is the RMF narrow. It merges before it goes under the pan so there is plenty of clearance.
merging way up there...doesn't that **** can the flow.
i'm looking for good power for the dollar and will not be driving uber low. just sitting nice enough to handle well.

the ones like these are what i am looking for clearance impressions on.

there is one dude in michigan who is running the f1spec(hytech) in an ed.

that's teh best pic of it so far. unfortunately that is not an undercar shot from the front, it does kinda show how well the header sticks up to the oil pan...but the angle could just be decieving.
