I have b16a, basically the same as the b16b, just a few less hp. I'm going to a b18c though.

you could open up a big debate by saying this.

its more like:

"I have a b16a, the b16b is basically like a b18c (with the b16 stroke), just with a few less horsepower. I'm going the right way though

b16b is a good way to cheat...throw a gsr crank and rods in it......

Well, technically you are right. It doesn't make much more torque than the b16a, and not that much more hp either. I should have said, "it's not worth the cost", compared to buying a b18c and b16a head

Why I disagree? All the Honda Challenge B series cars cannot be wrong. Kevin Helms is making K power with a LSVTEC with OEM bottom end parts. He is the white, and grey hatch in this vid, he won his class, and worked a z06 or two.

Yes as the rules allow. He got 3rd at the championship race here at mid ohio last year. He was behind.................you guessed it a K20A, and a LSVTEC, followed by 2 k20a's that bounced off each other. H1 also limits K's to stock cams, B's top ends are unlimited to an extent.

lol

da screet aint got no rulez dawg

you know how it is, if we were all given a pick of any engine we wanted, you know what to choose.

I just love it when folks say "go LSV for the torque cause its got mad stroke", what about the coveted K20 (that makes more torque at the wheels than a stock B makes at the flywheel) and theoretically got shorted with its 86mm stroke..lol

i got you tho.......when life gives you lemons make lemonade
