Those mounts you have, DON'T require the 90-93 integra rear bracket. You have a special bracket with those mounts you got from Jerry. They're not the same as the newer HCP's.

All you need is that different mount that bolts onto the timing belt area of the block. </TD></TR></TABLE>

do you know if he has that laying around??

Nah. He used it with his new mounts. I don't think we have any extras. I'd just go get one from a DA at the yard.

Default 91 Civic A/C Compressor fitment. Quick questions!!!

I need some help, I'm trying to get my A/C to work with the parts I have on hand, any suggestions are welcome

1991 Civic Si
B18C6 Engine from EDM ITR
B16A A/C Compressor from 92 EG6
No P/S

1. Can I use B16A or B18C6 bracket?
2. Any Clearance Issues?

Thanks in advance

Not technically. If you car isn't slammed they will help give you more postive camber. At least from what I've found

you can use any b series bracket as long as you cut the torque mount off of it and make some modifications to make your d series compressor bolt up. I did it, and it looks stock to the untrained eye. check this out.

I might have a b series a/c bracket laying around. If you need one, let me know and I'll look.

I have two B series brackets, one from a B16A and one from a B18C6
My questions was if it is possible to use a B series A/C compressor on a 91 Civic using a B series bracket.
Thanks for the help

I dont see why not as long as you've got the a/c lines that match the compressor and can route them properly. It's much simpler to use the factory d series stuff though.

when I tried it on my car the end of the arm was hitting the under wheel base crest.
also I would have had to drill bigger holes on the shock towers because of the placement.. I didn't want to go through all that.

I can't argue with that. I never actually tried it. I would rather use all the civic horizontal stuff since it's shorter. In theory, you can run wider tires then.

I don't know what you're asking. What I'm saying is that the upper and lower control arms and "A" arms are longer on the DA than the civic. So, if you use the civic stuff, you have more clearance to the fender, so you should be able to run a wider. It's my theory, but I havn't tried it. But I am running the da suspension, except for the upper and lower arms, and the "A" arms.

A arms as in the shock forks? If so they are the same lenght, just wider opening.

I'm refering to the "A" arms as in the upper A arm. It's what the spindle bolts to. Maybe we are talking about 2 different things. The shock doesn't bolt to it, but it goes up between it.

Yup, that thing. I didn't think skunk made any that fit the EF. I only know of the vision and the knock offs (revo or something like that). SPC makes an adjustable ball joint, but it may hit the inner fender.
