Why would what u describe mean its the distributor, even though its not the distributor (if i read that correctly, lol) ?
What u describe sounds something like maybe an ignition switch cutting out on you.

You think its the ignition switch going bad? Everything else stays on(radio etc). Only the tach cuts out and I have an electric speedo/vss.

It was just a thought. Why are u so convinced about the dizzy? Is it simply b/c the tach drops to zero? It dropping to zero means the engine is not running which can be caused by many things, not just dizzy.

omg that is gonna be a bad *** crx gabe. and vega i got some power folding mirrors for you if you want to take them off my hands? and for the hood problem put the rubber bump stops back on and on the latch on the hood unscrew the thing that looks like a ***** with a spring on it and it will lift your hood up unscrew as much as you need b4 it comes it has a slot for a flat head at the tip

That probably won't help if they pop your hood though. Even in non smog counties you can't legally rock a K20 in a CRX though, right? I saw you guys start a statewide township rebellion. Get all your friends to listed to some Rage Against the Machine, and go burn some capitol buildings to the ground.

i posted it here for that reason just because i figured that the j's thread doesn't get that much traffic.
i'm glad that everyone is loving the aero just as much as i do. i thought people would think it to be too extreme, and this is just the tip of the iceberg the rest of the car will be just as crazy as what you guys have seen also i'm staying b-series fully built b20 vtec. which is what i have now but its just not built yet, for now it's just a b20w/ itr head.
maybe i'll put a k-series in my next j's project
