ohh, i didnt know it kicked back on without u turning the key to start it. sounds like a loose connection/ground issue. Perhaops while the engine is idling go under the dash and jiggle stuff. Sounds ghetto but it may work.

well....... 90% chance my little cousin will get my crx. my aunt and uncle are feeling some of the pinch from the economic slowdown. he will be able to get his provisional license next year. im looking at 03-04 ford focus SVTs, 2004-2005 CIVIC SIs, and 2000-2002 S2000s as replacements. i actually think i may miss my crx. it has treated me pretty well. well, at least i will still have it until january 2009. i am basically waiting to see if i get into the nursing program for next semester and that will force my decision. dont worry, i will not allow ricer mods.
this ad is funny. read the comments halfway down. fake SIR.

I think they suck...I drove Ryan's once and loved it, but the fun was over in one minute once I realized what I was driving. There are better cars for the money you'll spend on a used or even new one.
edit: I guess you didn't ask my personal opinion
I say SILVER!

I love that burnt orange color. Fits are decent around town cars. Great stereos, mpg, comfy ride and handle decently. Just slow. Interior isnt very "soft" either. Cheap carpeting. Reminds me of Toyota Echo interior.

Sorry guys I still hate Fits.
I don't care how easily my Mugen bumper fit in the back of Joe's. For that matter I hate new cars. I guess I am just stuck in the 80's. The NSX, Z06 and third gen RX7 are cool, other than that there are no cars newer I like that aren't over 200k. At least like enough to own. Unfortunately society frowns upon my old school love. Matt, if I had kids, I would of bought a used Accord, or Accord Wagon. Ben doesn't have kids, and he lives in Ohio. I say buy a used Toyota Truck, and then when frame rusts out, sell it back to 'Yota, and buy another. Since he didn't ask for my opinion though, I say Silver.

Most banks will only finance on cars older than 3 years for 36 months or less. When you're talking monthly payments, it made more sense to get a newer, safer, more fuel efficient car for the same monthly payment as an Accord 3-6 years older. Trust me, we considered that.
I bought it for the wife to haul the kids around. I would never consider it for myself. She doesn't understand why I'd rather be driving my 17 year old sedan.

Exactly society forced you to buy a new car with financing. It is bs.

They didn't force me to do anything. Safety and reliability were the main factors in my decision, the financing was secondary. Every soccer mom on the road is in a 4 ton SUV now and a brand new car will hold up much better in a collision than an Accord from 10 years ago would. Not to mention most every used Honda for sale has 150-200k+ miles on them. We sold the '84 Accord because it left my wife and newborn on the side of the highway in rush hour traffic. That's not gonna happen with a new car. Your priorities change drastically when you have kids.

But it did, society deemed to midlife materialistic women that they need to have a 4 ton suv, when a simple wagon with suffice.

It can happen, but it's less likely. Those without children don't grasp how priorities do change. I sold my ef hatch when our baby was born because it became a huge waste of time and money.

I see what you are saying, but you could have found something, you liked better in mint condition with like 30K on it used, and because it wasn't under 3 years old you couldn't get financed for it. You never looked for anything like that, because you knew it wasn't possible to get financed for it. Thus forcing you to by a new car. It has nothing to do with safety or reliability.
I know things change when you get married. I think if I was married I would say screw fuel economy and all that. I'd buy a Humvee, and then I would have virtually no worries of my wife or kids being hurt. Instead I would instill fear in the minds of others, for their loved ones being killed by my wife in the Humvee. If I was worried about gas, I'd run it on veggie oil. Fortunately for others, that's a reality that doesn't exist, and I am single and childless.

My wife and a humvee would be dangerous to anybody parked near her!
Actually she would probably go back to cutting across parking lot islands and going through the grass like she did in her jeep wrangler
