I'm going to take them out to the shop at my grandma's, since the heat is on out there. The paint says it has to be 70+ degrees. I have found that the Duplicolor trim black matches the best to the stock trim finish and color. However, its not as durable as the SEM trim black. I would recommend the Duplicolor though since its cheaper and matches better. For prep follow the quote below

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by DOHC_C-REX &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">scotch brite (fine) clean clean and more clean...spray a few light coats of adhesion promoter and your choice of trim paint keep the coats of paint light. </TD></TR></TABLE>

In addition to the above use unscented dawn dish soap and warm water after the scotch brite. Then use the adhesion promoter. I like this stuff called Bulldog.

Good advice coming from the king of driveway painting I've had good luck in the past with the Bondo brand bumper black.

My guess is that it's basically a primer for plastic. I've never used it before. Plastic is usually hard to get paint to stick to, so I'm assuming it helps
