Hopefully the Easter bunny is a snow-shoed hare. I guess now I'll have no excuse for not getting my car done since I'm going to have some extra winter to deal with.

Well look on the bright side. Had the deer not been dead, you probably wouldn't be here to tell us about it.

Sorry about the rabbit incident. I myself hit a raccoon (which is considerably larger than a rabbit mind you) on my old car with the JDM front. It ripped the lip off on the drivers side and completely broke the blinker light from it's housing. I was soooooo mad! The next day I was driving a van through there and saw the dead raccoon on the side of the road so I went and ran over it a couple more times for good measure.
Anyhow, I got something cool today that gets me one step closer to doing the ITR intake manifold swap on my OBD0 B16A. Mr CRX sent me this fuel rail he had lying around that lets me use the ITR intake manifold. Normally if I were to use the OBD0 fuel rail the FPR would be mounted right on top of the IAT, but not so any longer. Thanks Adam!

Man I'm getting the itch to work on stuff but can't just yet until we finish the construction at the house, lol. 
Anywho, the time of year had come for my smog due on the crx. My battery had died on the rex just sitting the past few months, so after i dropped off wifey for her dentist appt on Thurs, me and my daughter swung by Pitcrew. I had gone with the intent of buying something, bad idea - and left with a Buddy Club Battery and a Blox cam seal.
Went Sat for the smog and had to go to a test only center. Passed everything except gas cap test paid $60. Swung by dealer picked up new cap - $20. Went back for retest, passed paid $30. WTF?!
I thought only non TEST only ceters did that pass or dont pay thing so I paid. Later I go to Burbank to drop off our daughter at my mom's for her sleepover and i see a TEST ONLY place that does the Pass or dont pay thing. Dang it.

I think I've only seen the "Pass or Don't Pay" things on NON Test-Only centers, and it's only free if you have them do the repairs on your vehicle.
Well, at least you passed relatively easily. I hate that they have that new EVAP test and there's another ~$20 or so tacked on for pre obd2 vehicles.

Tallkyle swung by in his new Element today.. he took some pics, so i have something to show off and ***** out a bit... thanks buddy! shows off the new wheels , and the amazingly stunning fact that my car runs finally, and seems reliable.
engine is a stock f22a1, with a d16 trans w/quaife, and the car has run mid 11's as it sits (on pump gas, with a conservative street tune)
