yeah I know. It does alright for me, I just want to eventually have a resto-mod EF. You know, the most updated drive train with classic exterior looks. after all look at what most of the old timers do with American classics.

I guess it made up for the inferior chassis with all that power, and tires. Sorry I just like to beat dead horses in my spare time. Also if a CRX is so inferior, lets break out HP to weight ratios. A 1988 CRX HF weighs in at 1819lbs bone stock. I know Kevin Helms's full race prep H1 EK hatch weighs in at 2250lbs. So a stocker CRX is already over 400lbs lighter than a full race prepped gutted EK race car. Sure there is no hi-tensile strength steel, but who needs it when you have less weight slowing the car down? I still feel that a 300whp NA K powered CRX gutted and stripped down to around 1600-1700lbs would be the ultimate track/street weapon. One day I will stroke, and cam the K20A in my CR-X, then we will all see. Probably like 2009 or 2010 I am thinking. I am happy with 220whp for now.

jeez. I thought we were done with the "inferior chassis remarks."
I have had a few conversations with Kyle (knowledge) and we disagree on a lot. but hes a cool, knowledgeable guy. His DA is pretty sweet too. i just wanted to put that out there.
He's also not the first person to tell me that the older chassis are inferior. but he's the first person to have a reason for saying that. the other person said "Its just old. its old technology."

i have inferior crx coilovers on my car. they work way better on my non-inferior chassis.
the inferior chassis discussion thread.
no really i dont give a ****, but the REAL truth is that the only "inferior" chassis honda made is in 01 when they switched to a mcpherson strut set up. otherwise its all perky college girl **** to me.

probably would get a 4 door dodge ram brand new for 22 grand. they practially give those things away and they make excellent "honda-support" vehicles. </TD></TR></TABLE>

I wonder how fast the J's car would be with a sequential 6 speed trans and and a 2 liter K pushing 300bhp (260 whp), It would be interesting to see how it would compare to the ASM S2000 which holds the record for an NA car at tsukuba and afaik is the fastest time attack NA in Japan
