SEARS FTMFWy0!!

I didn't even know they had battery relocate cases there and for freakin cheap.

Question:

why do people spend money on the battery cells online (i.e.. NRG, pc800 etc) instead of just using the smaller ATV, boat batteries they sell at the store. They have those for like $44.
Do they do the same thing??

My thoughts exactly. Remove what you can to see what the extent of the damage is, if any.

I'm cleaning it right now.
The damage was not extensive io the point where the mount was about the brake but it could have became like that if it sat any longer.
The complete top portion of the bolt has metled away. I don't know about the thread and what it looks like under the nut and washers. It could have been worse I guess

After... Ford F-350 > Honda Civic

I'm not trying to ***** parts but I've been on H-T for a long time now, just don't post much. You guys slang stuff between old timers in this thread so heres my offer. (If anyone objects, a mod can delete this post, just don't deduct points please)

I Have brand new K-Sport full coilovers for $570 OBO plus S/H (Have manufacturers' box w/invoice & paperwork for 1 year warranty) PM me or search on eBay, I need the $$ for another EF.

HatchMo, where can you find KSports cheaper than $570 new? I only took them out of the box to show you what your getting and promptly put them back in. I could just return them for a refund..

They arrived 3 days after Fordasaurs Rex ate my hatch, never been used.

If you EF guys were going to spend $500 on suspension, what would you buy?

500$? either a used full coilover setup or tokico blues w/your spring of choice

The wallmart batterys are not dry cell, hence the problem with running one inside the car. Not only will it not pass tech, but they also emit gases & vapor that are harmful for your health.

I am thinking about getting a walmart special and mounting it behind the rear bumper, how much room is back there?

That was a rhetorical question, btw.

I had the blues on my CRX way back when, never again.

What are other options for struts? I'm probably going to end up getting some GC coilovers since everybody swears by them.

I've heard a lot of bad things about D2/Omni/Skunk2/Ksport as far as durability and quality. I would really rather have a full coilover system, but I don't want to spend an arm and a leg.

Koni/Ground control with extended top hats. I bought the omni's when they first came out. They were more than $500 though. Nice set up, but no dampening adjustment.

The muffler on the sedan was barely on by one hangar due to rust. I'm thinking about ordering an ES Oval to replace it with custom piping. How will this sound? Anyone with experience?

I'm awaiting a response from Adam about the price on his Koni/GC setups. I'm leaning that direction, but I still need to decide what wheels.

How much of a difference do the top hats make?

I have no idea. I have the omni's. But from what I've read, it just allows the suspension to be set really low but gives the shock full travel. Most of the guys in the autox forum all use this set up.
