there is a plate under the battery
but the way the adapter mount kit is it sits really close to the battery and rubs.
All the rubbing caused some chemical reaction I guess and started to mess up the mount.

No boosted, I haven't got a chance to put my new one it yet. It hasn't arrived. The clicking is normal, it is the cycling. The more humidity in the air, the more your compressor is going to click on and off. This is so the evap core does not freeze up. My old one still clicks on when I push the A/C button, but I think the clutch isn't engaging. When it got too hot out, it would produce air that had a touch of coldness. It started to make a loud ticking noise at idle, and that's when you know they are screwed
Correct me if I'm wrong

ELECTROLYSIS: THE SILENT KILLER
electrolysis is 1) Chemical change, especially decomposition, that is produced in an electrolyte by an electric current.1 2) An electrochemical process by which electrical energy is used to promote chemical reactions that occur at electrodes.2
Electrolysis:
[1] A method by which chemical reactions are carried out by passage of electric current through a solution of an electrolyte or through a molten salt.
[2] Movement of electricity through a substance which causes a chemical change in the substance or its container.
Electrolyte:
In automotive batteries, it is a sulphuric acid and water solution. It can be any solution (usually an acid) that will conduct electric current. The acid reacts with the battery plates (usually made of lead) to produce direct current (DC) electricity.
ELECTROLYSIS=eectrolytic corrosion:
Electrochemical corrosion causing the electrolytic removal of metal

I sprayed some of that battery acid corrosion retard on it and the bolt turned orange like the can said it should. Its supposed to stop the corrosion process from continuing.
Hopefully it helps from spreading and eating away anymore metal

do i need to change the mount or will it be cool??
It only got to the one bolt. There is residue else where but I sprayed a lot of that acid/corrosion cleaner on it.
I'll take another pictures later tonight.

Electrolysis is using a current to decompose something. Example water into hydrogen and oxygen gas. Or a battery cell where one of the two elements (solid metal) goes to an oxidated state (lacking electrons) and the other does the reverse. That results in a electrical charge. (i hated learning about chemical cells, Organic ftw

Organic solvents wont do much against corrosion. Better using a solution of baking soda and water to clean it (and the battery). Then sand it down and paint it. Vega it may be a wise thing to upgrade to a sealed battery like a pc-680
