If you are going to build a B20. just get an ls block, sleeve it and bore it to 84mm+.

Unless you are looking for just a plain jane swap. b20's are really cheap and have lots of torque. if i was going to stay n/a non-vtec, i would go with b20 over b18, based on torque. sleeving and boring gets expensive. sounds like he's looking for a cheap swap. the key is to get a decent tranny. the LS tranny will make any swap seem slow.

Word, go 83 boost it and blow it, this way you have 3 rebuilds left.

not really
with the torque of the b20 it just feels like a constant pull when you step on it.
I have yet to test it out but my b20 sedan feels a lot stronger then my b16 hatch, especially low end.

Yes really. Have you ever driven a short geared tranny? There is a noticable difference. If I was doing a budget swap, I would go with a b20 with the LS tranny. If I was content staying non vtec, I would go b20 with an ITR gearset in a 92-93 ls case, because why do a swap and not have LSD? Any type of track driving with a swap is just silly without lsd.

Gearing makes a huge diff, drive a b16a with b16a tranny then a ls (stockish car)

Nothing beats spirited driving with a short geared trans, a quaife and the high revving scream of VTEC.

Again IRONY. And again I lough my *** off. Learn your Honda acronyms before making yourself look like a complete ***. Don't be so sensitive. Then again you might want to have your estrogen levels checked.
