Maybe you're having traction issues with your boosted K series so you want AWD.

OR

Maybe you want to leave the front axles out and have a RWD K series.

Your better off trying to figure out how to power a spaceship with a k series

It's dooable. You just need to chip the ecu with a NASA chip.

I'm back on the fence with the supercharger. I can't make up my freakin mind on this. Built n/a or SC....crap. I had myself conviced the SC was too much hassle 6 wks ago.

The thing about it is, i can easily break the 200whp mark with the SC, for not anymore money than with n/a.

You are doing a k swap, right?

b18c with b16a. If I go n/a, i will keep the bottom stock except swap in jdm itr pistons and go 2 layer head gasket. skunk2 or rocket valvetrain w/skunk2 cams, blox IM, ITR throttle body, and a nice header. Guessing 190-205whp

or, SC with stock bottom b18c, stock headgasket, gsr or itr cams and kamikaze header, at 8psi. Guessing 210-220 whp

Can you give me (and others), a basic list of parts and prices to do the k swap in an ef? I'm not going to do one, I'm just curious what it roughly costs.

Most K swaps are $7k - $10k, unless you're like Chase and find a ridiculously cheap swap. That bastard.

Motor
Trans
Hondata or Type-R ECU
Crossmember
Mounts
Fuel Rail
Fuel Pressure Regulator
Harness
Radiator
Intake
Header
Shifter Cables/Box

That's all I can think of at the moment.

I want some input from you EF guys. I was thinking about having Mickey make me an aluminum dash. He would have to make a cut out for the S2K cluster, no biggy. Keep in mind I'm only bolting two seats in, nothing else in the interior. I've got a black CRX dash right now.

what is the car being built for? if you powdercoat the dash black to match the fuel cell, that would be tight.

Yeah, don't leave the dash bare alum. The glare will be terrible. CBE, I will try to get some pics. I know I have an extra set. I have almost 2 sets of black interiors. I'm getting married this weekend, and will be gone the next 2, so I probably won't get around to it anytime soon. PM me the first week of july to remind me.

edit: just found this local http://madison.craigslist.org/car/347573087.html
