It's being build for kicking *** and taking names. Light track duty, Sunday drives, and embarrasing domestics on Fri/Sat night. Comfort is not a factor, I've got two other cars for that. The dash will be anodized or powdercoated, definitely not bare alum.

I saw an alum one installed last night, it looked pretty killer. I'm still torn, but on the upside, I've got plenty of time to think about it.

Hey guys, I found an Autobacs here in JP. They have Nardi steering wheels. Does anyone know how much they go for in the states? I know there is an Autobacs in LA but I dont remember what they carry to compare prices, so if anyone has some ideas of parts to buy let me know. I was hoping they would have window visors but they didnt, must be a dealer item.

There was a nice 240 and an rx7 out in front but I couldnt take a picture because we had to park on the roof so we drove right by them.

All of my pics will have to be posted when I get back, I cant upload from this comp!

Oh yeah, the girls here are hot!

build it all motor and supercharge it. I'm building an all motor setup with forged internals, so I can boost it later. It's gonna be NASTY.

Well, that kinda works. I know you can go higher compression with sc than you can with turbo, but there's a limit. I'm not going to boost anything over 11.5:1, which is pretty high. A well built street n/a motor is 11.5-12:1 comp. Plus I'm fairly set on using the stock gsr bottom, except for maybe a piston swap.

yep, I'm using 82mm 11.5:1 je pistons, eagle h beams, ge block guard, balanced rotating assembly, 8lb flywheel/6-puck sprung clutch, ported head, crower 404's, tit retainers, dual valve springs, 62mm bbk tb, itr tranny, dc 4-2-1 to a custom turn down exhaust before the rear axle. I'm thinking about a 100 shot also.

what is the comp. ratio of a stock ITR motor? I know those can boost 8 psi all day long as long as you have enough fuel to them. I may just leave the b18c bottom end alone, and go with a 2 layer head gasket. With a b16 head I think thats around 10.8:1 comp. I wouldn't boost higher than 8 psi due to the increase in heat from the blower

Stock itr I think is around 11.5:1. I think stock gsr is around 10.4:1. The b16 has smaller combustion chambers so it raises the ratio a bit I believe.

GSR - 10.6:1

type-R - 11.1:1

GSR head- 66cc combustion chamber
B16-R- PR3- 68cc combustion chamber

GSR has a slightly smaller combustion chamber, the top and bottom quench areas are flush with the surface of the head instead of recessed like the ITR and B16A heads.

GSR intake ports are slightly taller than the ITR/B16A. also results in a different intake manifold bolt pattern.

is there another way to release the brakes without turning on the engine? because my brakes are locked and no one can give me a boost. I need to roll my car into my backyard, I'm going to start pulling my engine.

I learned that lesson with my first EF. When I bought it, it was totally riced out. It looked pretty good in the end, but I never had a before/after shot.

You can't talk about turbos like this. What turbo are you talking about running 8psi at? 8psi on a Greddy 18g isn't going to make the same power as 8psi on a Holset Hx40.
