honestly dude. The tranny you have right now if there is nothing wrong with it as far as grinds, leaks, bad synchros and bearing s I would just keep it and install it. Trannys are a funny thing. You never know how good a tranny is until you install it or open it up. either way its gonna cost you money but you don't want to spend twice as much as you would the first time. I would say just use the tranny you already have if its good.

If they gave you a receipt with the transaction that states the tranny was LSD and even has the part number for the tranny on the receipt then you have a case. But if you purchased it out of good faith and with no paper work they may or may not try to disclaim it. But that also depends on who you knew that works there.

That k-series wagon is nifty. How does the drive line hold up to the increased power?

Doh! I'm an idoit. In fact, I think you called me out on this before, with a different car! Damn me for asking questions in the morning. Of course it couldn't be awd. Wrong tranny. I better get back to work

I don't know a lot about AWD, but I bet the tranny/drive train from a CRV/Element/RDX might be swappable into the wagovan with a K.

But why ? You can run 9s fwd, awd just adds wieght and more fabrication and more points to break.

If u want awd just get a 91 dsm

Well maybe you might want to take a K series off road.
