Personal experience with ff coils was good. Rode smooth on fiends cars, buddy of mine had d2, tein flex, and gc/koni, wasn't impressed With anything until he got stance coils

Got my GSR blades powdercoated Light metallic grey (gunmetal)

Got a quarter sized ding in the barrels on one... really not sure what to do. It's not warped too badly so it should still hold air not not wobble too much. I think?

ok so im having a weird issue here and was wondering if anybody else has experienced it before. some may know of the troubles i was having on my trip back to utah from pa. i noticed that at times my exhaust sound would be much lower than usual and that i was lacking in power. i would be in 5th and doing about 65-70 and when i would hit the gas it is like i have a stock cat on or just a mild exhaust even tho i have a straight pipe and highflow cat. was wondering if anybody has experienced this or found their cat clogging up and then being normal again after a little while?

Have you checked the water hoses that go to the fast idle and the idle air control? Those lines tend to break/crack over time.

On another subject.here are some more recent pictures of the car.

Haha thanks man, hopefully more progress will come soon. Front end should be ready soon then it's time to wrap the rest of the car.

I love the color you have in your bay. I'm a little upset because I had a very similar color in mind. Shoot, I guess I still do. Car is right up my alley.

Just picked up this DB1 for 300 bucks. Gonna be a parts car. What do you guys think of the rims? I'm thinking of replacing my stock sawblades with these.

edit: whoops never mind. i just noticed the rims are different on each side

I've posted this on a few forums already, but failed to mention it on here. My da is finally on e85 =] I swapped over for emission reasons and i like the way it smells lol. I tuned it myself using crome, i've been on it for about the past week, put around 70 miles on it since the switch, ran a few people and it's pulling harder than it ever has since I got it 2 and half years ago. I was able to keep up with a 4.6l mustang gt, although he did getmy on the top end I'm running a b16a with bolt ons, so i've only got 1/3 of his motor size. So yea definitely happy with the switch

when you were having the issue of lack of power was it when your car was hot (meaning running for a while). after cooling down the car would drive fine with no issues? the possibility of the catalytic clogging up.

yeah. first time was after 1000 miles, 2nd was 275 miles, 3rd was 880 mile and the last time was just driving around salt lake about 10 miles. so its never really consistant.

its a high flow cat with maybe 20k on it. i have only had this cat on my car for maybe 2k miles. it was clean when i put it in. it seam like my fuel pump is just having some flow problems. when the car would stall out, i would go to prime the pump and hear this whining noise coming from the tank area. i started putting my head near the ground when i would start it and would here it. its the only part that i havent replaced on this car. everything else is either brand new oem or known working and never had an issue. the car has 213k on it and i have no record of the previous owners replacing it. and the car sat with a 1/4 tank in it for 9 months and when i went to fill up the idiot put reg in when i said premium. i think the seals inside the pump are prolly worn out.

the car just will start to bog down and then when i pull it out of gear it will stall and then wont stay running when i try to start it back up. i just ordered a walbro 190 so hopefully it will be here in the next few days. i have an oem cat i wanted to put on cause the cops in park city are nuts about loud exhaust. i will do it this next week when i have a chance. maybe if i have time i will do it tomorrow evening when it cools down. sucks i dont have ramps anymore. all i have is 2 stock jacks

im really stoked on this. was it a pain in the *** to make this happen? this is the first time ive heard of this with a b series. is there any way you can use regular fuel if you cant get e85 somewhere?

It's really simple. You just need to have a big enough fuel system for ethanol. It takes roughly 20% more fuel. You can easily create two maps if you want to run gasoline at times. Obviously this will require something to tune with, but anyone interested in using ethanol should have that taken care of.
