Yes it will be there tight.im using one on my integra.

Have you checked the water hoses that go to the fast idle and the idle air control? Those lines tend to break/crack over time.

On another subject.here are some more recent pictures of the car.

Im not sure but i think you have a blue turbo integra..right? Saw a few pages back and it looks to be inside of a garage. I like that color and it looks as yours is really clean, plus im sure that motor should be a beast.

Bond, I posted this up before. The place I got my Moogen sides from was called RevAuto, but they seem to not be in business.

I got my new hood and a lot of people I know have purchased from here, they are local to me and I bet they will work something out with you

found coolant leak, one of those stupid rubber nipples busted and had a leak, I guess under pressure was spraying coolant out.

Just need to grab a log pair of pliers from my buddy tomorrow to get the clamp and nipple off. Damn Victor X doesn't make it easy to get my hand under there.

But yea it wasn't depressing the switch.
I guess I could think of something to throw on there for now.

Ah got part # 46505-Sa5-000

Just threaded a nut on a bolt and that did the trick though.
Those rubber plugs seem to rot after 20 years. I jb welded a penny on the pedal.

Thanks matt for the link. I'll give them a try. I'm not sure why shipping to Canada is always such a battle with most companies. It's not like I'm asking to ship it for free or anything, lol.

I guess customs is rough?? Or because it is "International" LOL.

Last time I was in Canada even I had trouble getting in, so maybe they just don't want stuff from the US hahahaha!

i forgot his real name but on g2ic he goes by DA Jellie (the guy that owned revauto). This is his current build thread http://forums.g2ic.com/showthread.ph...ck-in-business
He might still be able to get a hook up. I would hit him up.

so i had quite an eventful day in indiana. i drove the da for about 900 miles, checking the temp guage about every 30 sec-min and half just because i was a little nervous and once i passes south bend indian, the cause started to sputter and then once i took it out of gear it stalled out. it would start up for just a sec and then stall out again. i called for aaa and had it picked up

i had it towed to the honda dealer here and it ran perfect for the guy when he went to bring it into the bay. he ran it at idle for about 30 min without any issue. they didnt charge me anything because it was the end of the day and he didnt want to bleed it even tho i wanted to get it fixed and get back on the road.

it happend again 2 blocks from the dealer but after 5 min started back up and i put some fuel treatment in the tank. it ran god for about 15 miles and i went to an autozone and got a fuel filter since the one in ther was really old. NOBODY CARRIES BURP BUCKETS!!!!! so im at this hotel and i made one from a figi water bottle. ran it on hot setting for about 30 min reving it to 2500 rpms for about 20 min of the 30, then set it to cold setting and did the same for another 15 min. tons of huge bubbles burped out for about 30 min of those 45.

so im leaving here at 5 am and going to cruise to the first rest stop and then let it cool down and do it one more time. 1500 more miles to go!!!!!! wish me luck! oh and no check engine lights and i think my temp sending sensor is bad cause i had it set on hot and the needle never moved the whole trip. not even when it stalled out. hope my head gasket is ok!

From the what you mention that the car turns off after its temperature rises and if you leave it coold down then the car fires up, it makes me think your igniter is bad. Its common for igniters to go bad. Its hard to determine if that the problem and most of the time you cant have it check at autozone. The problem is that when your car turns offby the time you take the distributer out and go to autozone the actuall igniter already had time to cool off and when you have it tested it shows its working perfectly.

I dont think its your fuel filter. One way to check it is to drive the car and give it a heavy pedal(in other words just floor it.) If the car revs up and runs good then your fuel is working right. Usually when the filter is dirty you will be able to run the car slowly or maintain idle.

oh and one major weird thing!!! my motor wont rev past 5500rpm!!!! idk what the hell is wrong with this thing. the dizzy is brand new, i mean like no more that 2k miles on it. idk if sitting would have anything to do with it but the car is not heating up to where smoke is coming from the bay or anything. im going to try to drive it around town to see if it will do it again before i get back on the road. but i got a ton of air out last night. like huge bubbles 2" diamiter.

So it did it again. I figured out that the 5500rpm thing may be a launch control in the ecu I didn't know about. I'm just letting the car cool down now and I'm going to try my home made burp bucket again. Looks like I'll be stopping every 200 miles or so to give the car a rest. Oh and I'm getting over 40mpg with this thing!

Thats very high. That leads me to believe it's running lean or very hot possibly.

Does it always have air in the coolant? I'd think there is a leak or headgasket if it is.

What kind of motor is in your car? I had an issue with my first gen b16 not revving past 5500rpm due to bad o2 sensors. It would hit a wall and sputter all the way up to 5500rpm

Ok so here is the update. My car has been towed three times in two days. When it stalled out earlier today I got it to go about a mile and then same thing. I had some little oil change place use a real burp bucket and let the car sit. It the. Proceeded to sputter and stall eve. After it siting for 2 hours. I had it towed 100 miles for free just to keep moveing west. When it was dropped off about 2 more hours later I tried to drive up to the gas pump and felt some hesitation so I parked it again.

So here's where I get crazy and take drastic measures! After thinking about paying $1000 to rent a truck and dolly one way I the. Get out all my tools and take the stat out of the motor. I used a pair of ****s to cut all the spring stuff off till I was left with the flat piece with the rubber to seal the housing. Mind you this stat has about 2000 miles on it and is oem. I put it back together and then burped the system for the 30th time.

I filled up and got back on the road. I have done 200 miles and then pulled over to let the car cool down and burp it once more. I didn't get one single air bubble after letting it idle for 10 min while massaging the rad hoses! I think the stat had air blocking it and the temp sensor the whole time. Since my temp gauge never went up. But oddly enough my fan would kick on like normal. So I'm going to do another 200 miles and do it all over again. I got 950 miles left to go. The temp gauge has been sitting at 25-45% since the temps dropped to about 80-85 here in nebraska. So my mpgs went from being 40 avg to 32 even tho I'm only doing 60mph the whole time.

Oh and the motor is a bone stock 0bd2b b16a from a 00' si. 56k on it and well taken care of till the car was put into a tree at 100mph. Im going to do a compression check after I get home and get a nights rest and bang my girl about 20 times since I've been away for 2 weeks and very pissed off lately. Sorry for the ****ed up reading but I typed this on my phone
