DA Integra's Only
Well got a good deal on some SRP 9:1 pistons for my block.
Waiting on the machine shop to be done, then I will be ready to roll!
On a side note, anyone interested in some 81mm Arias 9:1 pistons with brand new rings hit me up!

This is how you win smog test

Unfortunately, I'll be dealing with another smog test in a few months.
Matt, I hope you're building the engine "right" or you'll be sitting down again.
Honestly it should be good. The block that was in my car was probably beat.
When I first got it, like 6 years ago I just dropped it off at a shop to have the work done. I really doubt they looked at it and sent it out.
When I rebuilt the motor 2 - 3 years ago I checked it over and honed it but it was in the car so I coulda missed something.
This time it should be fresh and solid but who knows.
Your high flow cat is killing you. Most High flow cats say they'll pass emissions, but they don't. Trust me, been there done that. Do you have any results of your last test?

well i'm trading my ls for my buddy's lsv and he's not sure whats in it but he knows its been somewhat built. so once i get it i'm going to compression test it to see.
Better crack that thing open and check it out before putting it near your car.
It is so inexpensive to take it to an exhaust shop and have them weld in a real cat. I bet 50 bucks in labor and maybe 75-125 for a part, depending on if you go used or new and if you shop right.
im in pa so idk if that makes a difference but my buddy ran my da on the machine and i passed with a buddyclub spec II and a highflow cat. he kept trying to get me to let him put my crv on the mach but i told him i wanted to know if it would pass and it did.
i have a high flow cat that i use for smog as well (my oem one went out) bt i always take it off ryte after and put my test pipe back on.....high flow cats or any aftermarket catalytic converter for that matter arent very durable they usually go out really quick if you are daily driving
I wasn't able to pass w/ my SMSP cat either... It's a custom cat I made to fit my exhaust and header, so next time I'm up for smog I'll have to do some fab work to a stock cat to get it to fit, then I can just swap back and forth.
