well ive decided to wait and get koni/gc with 2 top hats. i dont wanna have to do this again anytime soon so im gona do it right the first time.

I daily drove slammed cars for 12+ years and never broke a oil pan. I moved from pa to ky with a packed car slammed with no issues on a 700 drive. Pay attention to the road and you will be fine

 

i know how to drive slammed its not a problem i too have never broken anything from driving slammed except for maybe my stock shocks.

 

It wasn't directed at you, just a general statement. I have koni/gc with front and rear tophats on my DA and civic hatch... Its a great setup. On another note I will be taking a trip to pa for a week on the 13th of December to work on the teg and to check out the parts I ordered for it that got shipped to pa.

 

Mattb16teg: it's coming along. Finished up some loose ends. Made a manifold brace and finished up my cold side intercooler piping. Started on my hot side on the weekend. Which involved a 3" hole saw lol.

I'll try to get down to my shop and snap some pics tomorrow. I'll be updating my build thread after a good 4 month hiatus

My car may go on that for a while too, if it wasn't for the junk yard I wouldn't be doing anything on it but if the ECU is dead then it will sit for a while unless I can find a good ECU and can manage to move Hondata over to it.

 

matt i've got some ecus. never been touched. 1 p06 and 1 p28 auto (would need converted to manual obviously lol)

 

Ok cool, that P06 would work because I have a relay for Vtec now due to ECU issues years back.
I will let you know. I'm starting to think I've just got 2 bad relays from the junk yard. Trying to pull the relay and ECU from my buddies eg this weekend since I know they work and test it out then.

so im leaving in 3 hours to start my trek to utah from philly. i cant wait to get out of this damn area! doing 17hrs to columbia missouri to visit my uncle and then sat morn straight through to SLC! hopefully these tires will hold out. my crv is squatting due to my whole life being in the back of the car. also my tv weighs about 175 lbs.

Well my teg is kinda undergoing a full makeover,paint inside/out,b16T,LSD,tuck ect. should have the rest painted by this week (i keep saying that lol) but i bought all the clear i needed last week, so hopfully. If you ever need any parts painted wing,bumpers,lips ect. just hit me up and only pay for the cost of paint
