the eagle has landed! so after going back and forth with aaa cause they didnt want to tow a car with bad inspection (5months over), i got them to tow it to my house. but when i got in it at my house and turned the key, i could here my good main relay sizzling! anybody have any ideas why this would happen?

its mostly stock rs with a b18b swapped into it and a magnaflow rear section. also has a stainless shifter and i think new linkage. cassis has 209k and the motor suposedly has 60-70k on it. im going to be swapping everything that ive replaced on my grey da onto this car. im going to be selling the one pieces cause my other set are way nicer and then selling the grey shell. here are some pics.

Guys, Anyone ever been through a polygraph?

 

 

my grey da has all new bushings all the way around, koni/gc, and lots of other stuff. first thing first, i need some help turning the car around and swapping places with the grey one in the garage. oh and fresh b16 to help out with some power. i estimate in one moth it will be where i want it to be.

ok well if thats the only code then thats fine. the car is being stripped. i got the front end off and rad out. also battery tray and some of the harness. i will be doing the suspension this weekend. i hope it doesnt rain too much. they grey car is outside and the airbox opening will just let water flow.

the motor had no coolant and was low on oil so this motor is getting stripped as soon as the b16 is off the engine stand. also found allot of stripped bolts and stuff like that. ive been throwing every bolt in the trash so far cause they are all rusty or painted.

oh and the rad support is trash. i need to find a new one.

i remember my first da with the xsi swap and it felt way better and sounded way better with the b16. anyway it is my best option and it gives me time to build a ls/v over the next few years. i got a head and block so now i just need everything else. plus it only has 56k on it. still has my brothers si vin plate on it. prolly use that head for the build.

My first swap was a gsr in a crx in 1999 lol, that was a fun car

 

B16 FTW!! had plenty of b18c and thought the b16 was much more of a car to drive

 

I have a b16 now too. with a big ol snail strapped to the front.

 

So what's going on with it?

 

that will help. im more of a simple guy tho. this motor was my brothers and he doesnt want me to crack it open if i dont have to. so this motor will remain in the car and remain stock for a long time. i know its complete history and it was def cared for all 56k miles. it had about 4 total hours of track time on it the only problem it ever had was it would burn oil like no ones buissness when driven on the track. but im sure all b-series motors do that.

 

i found something interesting under my LR speaker behind the side panel. i think its a mouse nest. but no poop! but i got the interior out and the rear filler thats ef-ed up and the rear bumper that was hit before. i got another bumper cover and blk filler piece

 

To bad you live so far.. I have Blue doors, rear bumper, filler and hatch..

Brakes won't bleed right. I'm going to crawl under it tonight. It's so dumb that this is what my hold up is.
