I've seen someone document this before, probably on G2IC. I think something is different with the bushings so you have to shim it out to compensate, but I'm not sure.

Yes, that's what I was looking for.
I just wanted to know if anyone has done it in case I had questions.

hey guys i have a few questions.

can i run without the front crossmember motor mount? will this effect anything and is anybody else running without one and have you had any problems?

does anybody know where i can get the engine bay stickers at? i got the made in japan one off clean and the denso one off clean too. but the caution danger one from the rad support on the left shredded when i tried to take it off. i would like all new stickers if possible cause the made in japan one is kinda faded.

does anybody have the rubber fuel line that goes from the firewall hardline to the fuel filter? mine had a huge split in it and its discontinued from the dealer.

1.) I have never run one but the car has Innovative mounts.

2.) Dealer?

3.) Pick and pull!

noe of the junk yards within 10 miles has a da. has anybody used a fuel line from another integra or civic and been sucsessfull?the one from a 00si wont work. its hardlined right up to the bottom of the filter. do fuel filters have to be upright? if not i could use the 00 si filter it would just be sticking straight out and would prolly touch the tb

I've always ran one and honestly wouldn't but that's just me. People will argue both ways. I just bought a new OEM unit and filled it in with epoxy, working pretty well thus far.

Well I can't even if I wanted to because hydro trans don't have a mounting location.

This is what it looks like with the pump bolted solid to the lower LS bracket, but with a P72 upper (94-01 GSR). There's ~9mm gap.

Some people use washers to fill the gap, then a pry bar to adjust belt tension (because tension bolt doesn't line up).
this answers my thoughts... the reason I asked you if you use your GSR PS pump brackets on my first post is because I'm having trouble with my PS pump and bracket, I'm currently working on my EJ6 and the upper PS pump bracket that i have is like yours and it didn't fit my P72-2 pump. now i know why because it's from a B17 GSR... I always thought all b series vtec PS pump bracket are all the same, and they're not...

Well the block has a hairline crack in Cyl 1.

Lasted me 6 years, saw nitrous, high compression and turbo, so no complaints here.

Looks like I need to find another LS block.

Funny though the thing made power with the cracked sleeve!

Keep the block and just get it sleeved. Then you'll never have to worry about that again! Well, hopefully.

my buddy has a b16 block and crank for 150$ and i just pulled my ls. had low comp in 2 cyl, but when i had the head off about 400 miles ago it looked good. only thing about it is a very small chip in the top of the no 3 cyl. its on the outside of the cyl tho. i think it was a factory defect. i am willing to part with it. just need a day or 2 to think about it. and you are not too far so i would meet you. make me an offer if you want it. this motor ran great when i pulled it. do you have an obd1 b16 ecu or and obd1 b16 iacv because i will make some kind of deal with you.

Would love to but really don't have the money to invest in it, along with new pistons, etc. It's a street car for the most part and makes enough power on the street.

The crack may have been there before this build because I just changed everything out with the block in the car so i COULD have missed it.

Still have to finish polishing the driver headlight, that's why it looks like that. I put the wheels on today to see how they look. Still waiting on parts to come in so it didn't get started yet. In a perfect world it would all be done this week and i would get to take it to the big yearly sonic meet this weekend even though it needs a paint job
