I ended up using a sledge hammer to break 2 loose. A lot of liquid wrench and WD40 too!

So, using my mad MS Paint skills...

I dropped my car another 2" and 'painted' my falkens flat black.

This is making me seriously consider just not eating for a few weeks, buying the b16 trans and shooting for 200whp from the b18a. haha

I don't like food that much anyway..

uhh no offense but if your hoping for 200 wheel all motor from that LS, keep hoping......
You do realize how difficult/improbable that is, right?

uhh i dyno'd 152whp with:
an unported head
ebay-style header with cat. converter. and 2.5" exhaust
non port-matched intake, <generic 2.75" intake with no velocity stack
running power steering
still have room to take about .020" safely off the head to raise compression without fear of detonation
i can upgrade from 403's to 404's.
have not even played with cam gear settings.

...yeah. i'd say there's a chance. but what do i know.

https://honda-tech.com/forums/all-motor-naturally-aspirated-44/205-whp-ls-graph-inside-pump-gas-93-oct-2176287/

205whp.

Specs almost identical to mine + modifications I've listed I need to add for said goal.

I understand the cause for skepticism but Jesus, fellas. I said that's what I'm shooting for: you know, something to aspire to.

Look at the link to the LS build in my sig. Tell me I don't do my homework when I take on a project.

Put a basemap on my old car today. Its a 2008 four door si my bestfriend bought it. All I can say is flashpro is an impressive tuning program! Next week we are putting a vibrant race header on and hopefully getting it dyno tuned. Guy he bought header and flashpro from made 212 whp with almost identical i/h/e combo tuned by evans tuning.

Also should have pics of my engine bay done tomm!!!!

But all these kids throw our the 200hp number like its easy or if you use X parts the same way X person did you will automatically make 200! Especially on an LS it is not THAT easy!ANDDDDDDDDDDDD every engine is different, there are so many factors that make a BIG difference on power that no one understands. ****, something as simple as voltage makes a big difference.

Just because someone else did it doesnt mean its cake or you will automatically get that power. You will be in an elite group if you achieve that power!
Just do it and let's see, best way!

200 whp is capable out of the ls but you will spend a ton of money on head work and make sure its from a very reputable machinest the problem with the ls head is it dosent flow well for allmotor applications

yeah no **** matt, i am shooting for 200 whp on my itr engine and i will be happy if it breaks 180-190 whp.
Here is my specs kid, lol
B18cR jdm
12:1 flat top compression wiesco pistons
eagle h beam forged rods
acl race bearins
arp head studs
Stock ITR head with crane stage 3 cams. (gonna break the engine in on these and then get some skunk tuner stage 1's)
skunk2 IM
68mm TB
PWJDM whale dick intake with velocity stack
RMF 4-1 HEADER
2.5" test Pipe
2.5 inch catback N1 style exhaust
Hondata s300
B and R lines complete PVS delete/breather box
CTR N1 crank pully, AC and PS delete..
Moroso Oil pan..

and honestly whats gonna kill me is my elevation. I hope you reach your goals but i think breaking 155 whp is pretty nice, but i dont think you ll reach 200

I'd say good luck to you sir and I mean that in a good way. No offence but has anyone here spent time with a NA build on the dyno? It's alot of work and thats saying it nicely. Power isn't easily come by. Not to mention a 48WHP doesn't just happen with new parts and a stroke of a key. You really got to squeeze everything out of a NA build.

You got to do all that work to the head, bigger cams, etc which isn't a saturday afternoon. It's not that easy. Not as easy as the guy running a turbo that ups the PSI and makes more power.

I'd like to see some of the guys saying it's easy, show us how it's done then

A friend just finsihed building his B20V. Fully built with Jun 3's he cranked out 215WHP. Impressive, but it wasn't easy, so I know how hard it is.

Also take note of what dyno's people are using. I'd like to see 200WHP on a Mustang or Dynamics Dyno! hehe

hah! I'm glad my comment got such a conversation going.

I didn't mean to come off as pompous or arrogant, if I did I apologize. But at the same time, I'm not some 16yo yuppie kid who doesn't know his @ss from a hole in the ground either.

All I wanted to say was I'm thinking of dumping a bunch more money into my DA if I can afford to keep it and try and make it faster. I didn't realize throwing a number up would cause so much upheaval.I thought ya'll would dig that idea of another fast DA on the streets. haha

And yes, I know gaining horsepower, particularly in small engines is an uphill battle. And if I may quote my engine machining instructor in regards to the subject:
"It's not the one part you just slap on your motor to get big power, its the 50 little things you did right when planning and putting the motor together that give you the power."

Attention to detail and doing everything right the first time, that's what I got from it anyway.
