basically, chris miller had a by-run in the semi's. he pulled up on the side, staged, tripped the tree, and then instead of strolling down the track, he just simply backed off the line to the staging lanes. well, this didn't sit well with a certain official for some reason and he got all pissy about it. mean while, the other classes run their semi's and several other cars with by-runs do the same thing and the official didn't seem to mind for them. so miller pulls up for the final (mind you, this is the first time an import has even had a chance to win that class in the 15 years of the event), both cars tree, and as the tree drops, said official randomly stops miller from running while the other car takes off. miller got out and his girl had to hold him back from swingin on the official (i thought sure as hell he was gonna swing). everyone on the stands and the lines were all yelling and flippin out on the official. he claimed miller was leaking, but he wasn't. so then they took FOREVER to run the rest of the classes just from dickin around and finally re-ran millers race at the very end and miller finally got the win. it was just a bunch of bull **** on the officials part that pissed a LOT of people off

yeah exactly. that was my understanding as well. didnt think you actually had to run the track, just trip the light. im thinking it was something personal on the officials part or he was trying to keep an import from winning. either way, everyone went off on him.

lmao yeah, i saw that piece of **** too! made me wanna :'( also so the j32 swapped del sol, but it was riced out. i couldn't decide whether to give him props for the swap or dis him for the rice.

i was half sick when i went yesterday and now today i'm feelin like complete ****. my friend puked at the track a couple times and my gf puked on the way home and as soon as we got home. not sure what happened there

Anyone know of where i could order polyurethane radius rod bushings? I feel like we've discussed this recently but I can't find where. Looking for front anti-sway bar bushings as well, but I haven't searched for those yet.

 

Energy Suspension makes replacement bushings for both the radius rods and the sway bar endlinks. SummitRacing is a good source for ES parts, but they don't have the radius rod bushings listed as available for purchase separately. Only some parts are available separate, and others just come w/ the whole kit. However you can check w/ ES and everything is probably available separate. You may just need to get the part number from ES and then order thru a local speed shop as Summit may not be able to do one off specific parts requests like that. And obviously you can check any other ES dealer, whether it be online or brick and mortar.

I saw that m3 front rex, at first I only saw the front, looked under the hood and was like," wtf? b-series?" then I realized it was a crx, lol. di you guys see that supra burn out and run head first into the wall? that was crazy! and the CTR front fa5 was just beautiful! there was some alright rides down there, I had an awesome time.

Just ordered the transistors, resistors and diode so I can get the PWM(electronic boost controller) working for my ECU.
Car will be a blast once I can get gear/rpm based boost setup so I can get traction!!

 

nope. none of us were drinking. not sure what happened. i already had a shitty cold before going and of course it got worse but i wasnt missing it. just sucks i had to call off work tonight cuz of being sick

lol i know what you mean man. luckily my girl brought a blanket along which we put down on the stands, sat on, then wrapped it around our legs. blocked the wind and made a huge difference. not to mention all the layers i hade on to keep the upper body warm and of course, the gloves. thats why i wasn't gettin up n walkin around the track, i was pretty well settled in lol

just picked up some rs doors yesterday. i started swapping the regulators over. i also got a front consol with red stitching on the boot. also got all the under dash pieces. and i got headlight harnesses so i can start my wire tuck and got a bumper with out a huge dent or cracking. the car had 275k and was hit on the front end. i wish i could find a clean front bumper. anybody in philly nj area. i will travel up to 100 miles for a front bumper with the grille intact. i also picked up dc side skirts and 99-00' si wheels from my brother. they are mint condition with azenas an them. also got an itr mc and booster. now i just need to get legend calipers and rotors.

I'm waiting on a few things:
My rebuilt turbo back
a sintered filter (acts as an oil restrictor for the feed line)
ECU parts to run the hondata electronic boost controller
Battery tray to mount on the frame rail, my buddy has a carbon fiber braille battery at work from one of their race cars and I can has it for free!

 

you suck. i want a free braille battery!

 

Gotta lotta little things to take care of to come out strong next year!
