it'll stay that way for a while. Unless we get a newer TL-S 6speed in white.

Thanks man, I appreciate it!
Yea I put new linkage in with new bushings when I put the new motor in. Def makes a difference and isn't all sloppy anymore.

I guess I should grab some DC2 linkage and put it on the car. Isn't there a thread about this and how to use it?

I'm pretty sure dc2 linkage doesn't fit correctly. i used the linkage from my gsr when I swapped the motor and it fit, but was too long and really screwed with the orientation of the shifter.

I think people use the dual bend shifter and keep the da linkage

what makes it sloppy is the u-joint area. that area gets play from wear, i fixed mine by making metal bushings. es bushings and rebuilt ujoint make one happy driver...no mo missed gears.

I have a type r linkage, shifter with skunk2 **** and hardrace shifter bushings. Best combination I've had so far. Also used Mobil1 synthetic grease for the shifter joint area.

Is Type R Linkage different that the normal DC?

Isn't there a thread on modding the Type R Linkage to fit?

PS, Andy sweet avatar! Is that one going to brow(Yes its supposed to be an R) up like your Chinese Turbo?

I can't stand this setup in my car. But then again, maybe it's cause I'm short. The dual bend shifter makes it hard for me to reach 5th and to some extent 3rd. Placement is a little better now with my race bucket, but I'm pretty sure that if I have my harnesses nice and tight I'd have a hard time getting it into 3rd and maybe not be able to get it into 5th at all. My original plan was to go w/ the single bend EG shifter. I used an EG shifter in my previous DA (which DA linkage) and I really like that setup. But instead I made a bit of an impulse buy the other day and got an FLP. I still feel like I'm not quite worthy of this shifter, but we'll see what happens. Probably won't have a chance to install it before Buttonwillow, so looks like I'll be stuck w/ the ITR piece.

Fits perfect, no modifications for the linkage.

^ Not sure, just by looking at it the DC2 linkage is twice the size of a DC linkage in thickness.

Duma, there's no racing going on, just high performance driving, you can bring any car from a stock Prius to GT3 Porsche and have fun.

In auto-x, you get put into a class based off your mods. Anything from stock to a couple mods to full auto-x dedicated cars all have their own class for you to compare times in. Possibly win $$$ for more seat-time or you could go for a nice big 3" trophy.
