Well guys I took the car apart tonight!
Put the fuel pump in which sucked ***! Big time!
Took out a bunch of stuff and had to do some cutting to the frame for the radiator to sit right.

A few bits that--all things going smoothly--will check off this weekend:
Recaro Pole Poisition
Autopower Roll Bar
Fender Rolling Friday
Azenis Saturday
Track Day Sunday
Still need:
Buddyclub Super Low Rail
Scroth 5-point ASM FE
This will complete safety and provide a few more events worth of tires.

I will change the relay...I did flick it..But like andy said its not fuel..im getting that..Its hard to explain I have weak spark...My thought is there is a wire loose or ground..Because the motor doesnt even sound like it wants to start..kinda sounds out of time but isnt..Turns very fast... thatss about it lol

Right on Suren! I just got my seats, harnesses, and roll bar mounted over this past weekend, as well as my gauges and steering wheel. Still need to bleed the brakes and get the car aligned before my track day on the 6th. And I'm hoping to find a new throttle body as well, mine just started sticking, so I need to remedy that ASAP.
Yea I am kinda getting it done quick. But I'm not worried about the power plant which is why. If I was also buying go-fast parts the build would be A LOT slower lol. I'm just getting the bare minimum that's recommended if you're going to be driving through corners at 100mph +. I don't even have an intake and the parts I'm buying I'm on the hunt for deals like everyone else pretty much. $350 for the pole position !
Colin's project has definitely been low key.
Sick dude. Looks like we're almost on the same page here haha. I re-flushed my brakes with some 600 recently and put some gauges in too. Are you using an Autopower Race Bar? What kind of seats and harness?

I added some Helpers onto my rear suspension also, I was unloading the rear springs and they'd smash back down onto the lip of my top hats.
Not fun

It's not that bad ! Unless you're only using hand tools but even then only the brackets that hold the tank up to the car are a bit tedious.

Guilty as charged. There are little tid bits of info out there, but ya gotta know where to look. I don't need attention and a build thread. I actually did let someone snap some shots of the bay at Eibach this weekend, but not sure if those pics will surface or not.
Ghetto style for me! Sort of. I bought a Sparco Speed a few years back, so that's my passenger seat, combined w/ a schrothe 3pt. We had an extra Cobra Monaco S leftover from our rally car which never got used and we didn't put in the LeMons car either, so that's my driver seat along w/ the extra set of Crow harnesses I found in the garage. Using Wedge brackets on both.
Yes, Autopower race roll bar for rollover protection and a couple Ogle bars in the rear to stiffen stuff up.
You're running the same steering wheel as I am! Well, mine's black, but it's a Mod 78. First day using it was this past sunday and I LOVE it. Only problem is the horn button retainer ring doesn't fit w/ my FET quick release, so I need to figure that out.
I'm using ATE Blue and was actually a bit surprised that the brakes felt less than firm at a stop sign the other day. But then again I drive the car once in a blue moon, so maybe it's all in my head. Either way, a bleed is a good idea. My main concerns currently are the alignment (drives straight and feels OK, actually amazing considering I just installed fully adjustable alignment pieces and never actually set them, just eyeballed it while installing) and getting a new TB. Speaking of which - if anyone has an ITR TB for sale, lmk....

My passenger doesn't even get a bucket, if they want the extra holding monster they can buy me one lol. jk jk.
I saw your post in the steering wheel thread about the quick release, afraid I can't help you, I have no idea of the inner workings of a FET QR. I bought my Momo hub 2nd hand so I think it might be missing a few things to make the horn work so I'm hornless for the meantime. I like the Mod 78 but I may switch for a leather monte carlo. The suede is great with some gloves but not so much w/o IMO.
As far as the brakes, mine are kinda the same way. I think it's the seals that are going on my MC. No matter how much bleeding I do it's not up to par where my DC was (which had a brand new MC). I might just have to buy a new MC just to be on the safe side.
A buddy of mine is supposed to pick up an ITR swap soon. He already has an ITR throttle body from his recent build and if he gets the ITR swap he'll have 2 maybe he'll sell one. I'll let you know.

btw, where'd you get those helpers? Every set I've seen has been surprisingly expensive and I could definitely use some but don't want to pay a fortune. And what spring rates are you running?
yeah, lmk about the Tb. I might just try to swap on my b17a piece for this track day so I'm not in such a rush.
I originally bought the Sparco as my driver seat but after using a Cobra in our race car I liked it more. Technically neither the seat nor belt are mine, they're "ours" (meaning the guys I do Lemons with) but it's been sitting in an upstairs room in a bag for years, so I'm gonna use it, and no one is going to complain! lol.
Get a new MC, it's worth it just for the bright white plastic reservoir! I'd offer to sell you mine, but I already promised it to Matty.

I got them straight from Ryan from Eibach. Theirs aren't as ridiculously priced and if you call him directly he may give you some HT special on 'em with spacers and everything. I lucked out, he happened to have some laying around that he sold for super cheap.
His SN is VtecVoodoo on HT.
The rates are 400/600

I might just have to inquire about those springs... Thanks for his screenname.
I liked the feel of the suede on my bare hands, but the idea of it getting matted down from greasy hands in the garage isn't something I'm liking. My plan is to get a leather wheel (I was hoping to find a cheap, B grade Mugen wheel) and then have two quick releases. I'll use the leather wheel for moving the car around in the garage and whenever I drive it on the weekends, then the suede wheel for track days when I'm wearing gloves. I just need to find another FET quick release which may not be the easiest thing.
Years ago I was running 550/450 and my new set is 700/600. But I've never ran springs that stiff before, so we'll see how it goes. I'm tempted to get some lower rates till I learn the car a little more, then start raising them and playing with front/rear bias.

It sucks and is time consuming! I had a lift, air tools and a trans jack. I'm just mad its not as easy as all other Honda's where you can just drop it in through the rear seat!
Hey local guys, I'm selling the following, will have a thread with pics up soon!
- Full sized Mishimoto Aluminum Radiator
- Mugen 4-1 header
- Rc 310 cc Injectors
- 2.5 inch Exhaust, race cat, magnaflow resonator and muffler.
Throw out an offer if your interested

I'm headed to work on it after I leave here, I just sent you a PM.
Oh and the exhaust is custom piping and is mild steel.

I may borrow that idea from you with the QR. We'll see, once I get my seating position down I'll be able to see where I want the wheel. I may go for a 70mm or 90mm dished Momo.
I had 600/500 on my DC and it under steered like a pig so I had to alleviate that asap.
I was on Omni power coilvers back then. I experienced first hand what the difference between TDM suspension vs. Koni/Bilstien is like. The dampers overheated while I was on track at buttonwillow and the rear driver side damper stopped working all together. The spring just compressed, probably to full bind, all on it's own mid-corner. I thought something went loose. Mid corner the rear just squatted down like a random force pushed it down. I had to exit to the hot pits and check everything out, cost me track time. I think the oil that's used sucks so the damper gives up under extreme conditions. When you need it most basically.

That buttonwillow experience sounds sketchy!
got new exhaust piping and resonator today, spent a total of $40 bucks
woot woot no more sounding like a ricer with all the holes the stock pipe had
