nope no blown head gasket, otherwise water would be jumping out of the radiator with the engine on and the cap off the radiator...........and the radiator would drain all the way, but it only drains till where the leaks are

Need more info to diagnose that, just throw the battery in from yours or your girls car and see if it still runs bad.
I can come help if you need it
well we had to put some jumper cables on it and the it worked, I let it run for 10 minutes, turned it off, cranked it again, ran fine. but yesterday when I woke up, before I went to work I tried again and it was doing the same thing, trying to turn over like it would kinda start, but then just go back to trying to turn over. then the battery just wouldn't try to turn it over at all. we are going to mess with it again when I get home tonight, I will hit you up matt and let you know what happens, if I still can't get it, I will summons your expertise if you can come through hommie!

I had one and it didn't work for me so I bought a C&R. Prior to purchasing it, several people said it would fit but it definitely would have to be titled waayy toward the motor and be janky as hell. It stuck up from the core support like 2 inches or so.
edit-found a picture. Not a particularly good one but you can see the rad sticks up and isn't even flush with the core support.

^^I'd imagine plastic. They can be had for even cheaper if you go the ebay route.

Well you definitely want aluminum fins. Or brass. Or copper. Definitely not plastic there.
