get out the grinder and a piece of sandpaper on a wood block....grind it down semi evenly...then use the block sander to get it closer....worked great for me...all of a 5 min fix instead of waiting another week and spending anoher 20 on a clamp...its not that hard

also brnad spankin new hx35...good for all you expensive hx35 ballaz

can you give me some close up pics of your downpipe and clamp and all? i would appreciate it.

i have 2 flanges that came off of fords or something, anyway they are 3" thought about trying to cut them down, but like i said, the clamp doesnt seem to fit over the pipe(not the flange, the other end) maybe we have different exhaust housings.

mine is just a hair over 3" at the outer lip of the vband part. inside diameter is like 2 7/8 or something like that

anyway if you could give me some pics of yours up close. thanks

bump, i think i found a cheaper clamp, but ill have to check when we get some more in at work.they fit a caterpillar and look to cost around $12. but like i said we have to get some more stock in so i can check fitment.

also does anybody have any updates?

im getting my cast off next friday(24) and hope to jump back on my project soon.i have a downpipe flange ordered through nelson exhaust.(we are a dealer for that too)

i also have a friend who is putting a hx35w on his b18a hatch(95dx). i will also update you guys on his progress. he ordered his intercooler yesterday.

guys i just purchased crome pro as my engine management. all i can say is wow. it works great. definately worh the $$. i have used the trial version of crome for a while, but the pro version is great.

Been a while guys, but here's my update. I just ordered my full-race traction bar/crossmember yesterday, so once that gets in, i'll be able to put my whole setup on. I'm also using a civic aluminum half size radiator...this is a big turbo. They say you can fit a 4" dp with this crossmember, so i'll find out! Anyway, thought i'd let everyone know how my project is coming...wish me luck!

<<< Still trying to finish the motor.

Stacking my chips right now. . . still on 14-16 hour days at work. Getting very antsy to put it all together and throw 30-40 pounds at it.

well if i run it on the drivers side, the wastegate elbow will have to be relocated, and the exhaust outlet is pointig straight at the radiator.
