On a map that i was playing around with. I have to go back and complete the final tune. This pull was at 18psi and the A/F were still in the 10's with 1000cc injectors and excessive timing pulled to be safe.

The lower graph was the run i did at 10psi to give a difference on how much of a power difference there is with an 8psi increase.

Ill post build specs later, but speedave knows me and knows the build. its a LSVtec built, with a Holset HY35 and Trust 50mm wastegate.

until next time...</TD></TR></TABLE>

what about the run at 12psi where you almost hit 300whp? remember, the tune you had before I turned your crx into jesus and drove on water?

Its looking like my holset he351cw fell through... but the guy has a 7.3 ford turbo for me possibly... so far any specs I can find put it way beyond D usefullness.

Anyone have info on anyone else using the ford 7.3 diesel turbos? They appear to be garretts. .83 and 1.01 AR depending on year.

Once I have pics/specs I'll check back in.

You will need to know what size hx40 you have. There are at least two different sizes 58mm and 60mm inducers. You need to know what cover you have or the new compressor wheel will not fit.

Anybody with HY35W's?

I cant get over the fact that this thing has a stupid elbow on the compressor side. Is there any harm in just cutting it off and welding it back on so its straight?

If you can cut it and have the capability to weld AL then more power to you. There are a few ppl in this long thread that are using the HY's but... you got to go through the thread and do your own leg work

Sounds good to me lol. With a better 60' the car would be much faster in the 1/4, but i suppose thats a given. . Congrats

Here's where the bend ends up in my ej1 chassis....

The Bend.......pretty convenient imo.

Oh, and Drew, about the bend........I get nothin but praise from the girls! Never a dissatisfied customer.

Default H1C or H1E?

I have the choice of getting an H1C or an H1E... both have large twin scroll exhaust housing, but that's not an issue. I'll either block one side or change the housing.

My question, is which one of the compressor has the largest flow amount-- the H1C or the H1E? Any flow numbers known?

thanks.

bad idea...will kill flow velocity and wont operate the turbo as it was orignally intended....just get a smaller housing
