I run Rotella t6 or Torcos high end race oil.
Holders don't have a specific oil requirement, it is based around your motor and bearing clearances, operating temps, operating rpm range, etc.
the turbo doesn't much care what oil it is fed as long as it's clean.

From what I've read so far the you get the quickest spool time from a HY35? I'm looking to boost my B20vtec and make around 300 around 12psi. Does that sound possible? Also what manifold is everyone running with these turbos, just anything with a T3 flange(other than ssac haha)? This is my first turbo build so I just want everything to go smoothly. Thanks in advance!
I swear I need one of these for my he351ve and every other turbo I own

I've been cutting a radius into all of my billet drain fittings to avoid any turbulence leaving the drain. I also gasket match the oil outlet and the diameter of the return as well, you'd be amazed how much material is in the way between the CHRA oil drain and the drain flange
well if i could get my car to cooperate id have some numbers. first the pro1's werent working with my setup, swapped them to some GSR's and then the fuel pump decides it doesnt want to keep up. made 340 whp at about 6k on 14 psi with fuel pressure falling of about 6k. new pump on the way, hopefully that fixes that issue

I miss the hood exit it used to have... I must say the wide 3 piece eg front-end looks good on a del sol. it also looks like the rear fenders have been widened quite a bit or is that just the lighting and angle of the photo?
also who's wheels are those? me likely. I've been looking at running Belak Industries 15x8 drag wheels on my street car due to their lightweight and modular construction but they aren't the most affordable wheels. I think the wheels you run would be a good option as well

As for the wheels... Sadly they are EBAY specials...
Until I can afford something I really like and with the width/offset that I would need to fill the fenders nicely... These get me by for now and they are 16x9.5 in the fronts and 16x8 in the rear.
I need some advice, here is what I have:
DOHC ZC, 7-blade HX35 with homemade twin scroll manifold, plan is 15-20psi (lets be honest probably 20psi), 3" downpipe and exhaust and currently a 38mm Tial.
Right now I made a single wastegate design but I have boost creep, so I plan to make it a twin wastegate (one for each side) of the divided manifold. Should two 38mm wastegates be adequate?

Stock internal zc? good luck.
A single 38 won't adequately vent a divided manifold as you've seen. you'll need at least a 44-46mm wastegate. I have a divided manifold for my sr20 that came off the dent sport garage 240rs maxi and it has a single wastegate as well. on a gt3076r a 60mm hks gtii wastegate was needed but that's due to the varying conditions the car saw across different racing types.
while you could use two 38s it would require significant modifications. is there anyway you can run a single bigger tube for the wg and use a single 44 or 46?

I had a Ls-vtec with a hx35 using a divided bottom mount manifold with a single 44mm wastegate .. The divided collector ran all the way to the valve seat on the wastegate flange It held 16psi with zero creep
made 377 whp and 315 ft lbs at 7k. vtec engagement is being a pain now. one of these days it will make a full pull to 8500. i have a tial 44mm gate with a 1 bar spring but its spikes to 20 and holds there

That's how my single wastegate divided manifold is, it has a divider all the way to the seat. holds boost quite well. also if you notch that divider a bit where it meets the wg valve it will help even out backpressure and promote even flow through the gate.
DOHC ZC with ARP head studs, Forged Pistons and Eagle rods. Proven to handle 400whp+ with proper tuning. Not the best NA engines but these engines love boost.
I guess I could run a single 44mm. I don't really mind the fabrication of adding another flange (I made the manifold), it's no big deal to me. If I ran twin 38mm wastegates it would cost more than a single 44mm but probably won't give me any issues. I will look through this thread for pictures of single wastegate manifolds, but you guys got any pictures of your manifolds handy?

I do, I might have to take a few as I didn't really photo the wg area, cut off the flange for a different gate but the whole structure is still there lol
do you have a photo of yours so we can see current wg placement, etc?

Mine isn't pretty, I had limited room so it basically looks like a 90* off one side and a 45* off the other side. I wanted to have two straight pieces come off and merge to the wastegate flange, but I wouldn't of been able to get a good weld on the inside. This is why two wastegates seems a little easier to make since I don't have to try to merge the two. I have have plenty room for them on each side. I actually put heat wrap over it before I took pictures.
What the most power you guys seen with a 7 blade hx35?
What about et's and trap speed?
Had a friend with a ramhorn w/single 44 gate on c16
533whp 430ish tq 10.7 13x cant remember exact speed.

I'll be using an hx35 with the BEP hot side. Here's a few pics of my setup. Also I'm have clearance issues with the downpipe touching the radiator. Has anyone had that same issue? What's the solution.

Move the radiator post and move the radiator over.. Or recut your downpipe.
