Default 1999 civic si: water draining into trunk

A while back i took out all of the rear interior (seats and stuff). And noticed that it was all kind of damp. Now every time it rains a pool of water forms in the back. Like massive..

Just wondering of a seal is messed or if something is not draining properly maybe in the trunk of sun roof.

Is there a way to reach the drain tubes? How do i go about fixing this. I need to put the interior back in for the winter storage and i dont want wet seats...

Thanks

Just an idea, after examining your main weather sealing and seeing if everything is put in properly maybe you can open the rear passenger seats and from inside (while someone is spraying a drizzle of water from outside) you can observe where the water is leaking in from. If someone has a better idea, please jump in.

Yea i can try that tomorrow. The sealing looks fine, which leads me to believe it could be the sun roof drain or other drains.

Trunk seal or one of the moonroof drain hoses has come out of it's rubber grommet so it's dumping in your car. There is one in each quarter panel. Clear hose and it should hook to a black grommet that goes through the body outside.

ok so im out side right now. the sunroof drains are fine, they acutally drain to the front of the car. i see the two clear hoses in the quarter pannel in the trunk, but i dont see any water going through them.

i am doing the hose test method. when i do that there is three or four different places where pools of water start to form immedietly and little drips are happening. but it doesnt make sense where they are coming from...

no idea..

I had the same problem in my 92 hatch and it turns out it was coming from my passenger taillight....we did what was suggested already, someone inside and someone outside soaking everywhere possible down

yea we actually took the whole bumper off and found one of the leaks. it was a little plug (which looks completely useless) so we sealed it up. But there is still coming from the trunk. 2 or 3 different leaks. when you look at where its leaking, its like "how is this getting here". having a hard time tracking the leaks..

still looking for more suggestions.

Would a dealer or a body shop offer any solutions if i took the car somewhere?

yep everything is clear. when we did the hose test it took a minute when the leaking started. i know that water can get anywhere so there must be something im missing.
