hey guy...
I found my rear seats completely wet one day . It rains alot where i live. I looked in the trunk and it was dry but when i looked under, in the area where the spare sits, i found a puddle of water. Any of you R owners know what's going on?

My sisters 91 Teg gets some water in the spare tire well after a hard rain. Hers is because of a bad tail ling seal, which couldn't affect the back seats, so I'm not really sure. I would say check the weather stripping around the hatch to make sure it's still attached and hasn't become hard over time?

 

Ck all the obvious places first and then the plugs under the seats.

Also the line for the rear window squirter is that working?, it could have a hole...

 

Mine gets water in the spare tire well after a car wash, I think its leaking in from behind the taillights.

I have notice water in there several times. I'm not to worried about it, except that the moisture makes my windows fog up more than normal. I would, however, worry about your seats. You don't want a mildew problem...

 

mine continually has a leak in the driver side floorboards(at least that's where the water is collecting).. nothing in the seats though.. were the entire seats wet, or just the part you sit on?
