Default 1997 honda civic ex coupe (ej8) interior leak

Ive rexently found a water leak in my trunk, i was cleaning out my car and decided to take the back seat out since it was wet, upon removing it there were to puddles of water, i vacuumed the water out, put everything back together except tbe back seat so it can dry out. Im driving, make a few stops, get home and realize that there is water where the seats should be again. Anynody have any idea as to where the water is comng from?

pull out all interior trim in the trunk, down to bare metal. Coat the entire interior of the trunk with baby powder. Close the trunk and spray water all over. Search for traces or trails of water inside. Fix leak.

Same problem with my 97 HX. Make sure everything is dry and put down your rear seats and crawl in the trunk with a light and have a friend run water around the window seal slowly and watch for a leak. Mine leaked on passenger side about a foot or so up from the bottom of the window and dripped into the trunk and especially with heavier rain and parked a certain way, the water would soak the back seats, trunk and floor as well. Haven't replaced the seal yet but have it on my to do list.

I had a similar problem with mine, although its a hatchback. Water was collecting in the seem between the roof and side of the car and trailing down the back, behind the brake lights, trough the cavity of the chassis and into the trunk.
