I've had mine for about two years and were installed on two cars. Maybe 15,000 miles on it... and one of them is blown.

I almost bought a bone stock 1995 DB Ls model for myself before I got this car instead back in 09. Being 20 yrs old at that time the stock 3dr vs. the stock 4dr sounded more sporty/pratical, Oh wells lol.

yo I just installed type 1's in my DA. They ride great for dd but 1 problem, the rear is set almost at its highest and I'm still tucking tire. The fronts can go higher but I don't want the front to be higher than the rear. But right now I have them level and I'm so low I'm scraping everywhere. Can I get an extended lower mount for the rears? The rear is WAY too low. I need a solution!

Pics of your rear coilover installed please? You should have a good 2-3 inch gap at full height.

I can see that possible for the fronts if I have those at full height, but the rears are a different story, they can go really low and the highest is still impractical. I read a few articles that these coilovers have this problem with the DA chassis. Just want to see what you guys did to solve it. I tried to get it higher and the threads came out of the lower mount and the whole entire shock body disconnected from the lower mount while i was adjusting them with them installed in the car. thats how I know theyre not getting any higher lol.

Ah yeah I've done that too lol. You should just make sure there's enough thread inside te shock to be safe. That's really the best you can do. Post a pic, my buddy has them on his da and I didn't know his height was too low. I mean maybe but I think it's just a pretty good drop, then again Isn't that what you wanted when you got these? Haha sux

Ya it looks great, but I'm in the city and I need to have it higher! Would it be safe to shim the rear with a few washers? I was thinking i could take the coils out, put a few washers on the studs on top and then remount them. That could prob give me like 1/4-1/2" more height if i use a few.

You need to contact F&F, they have a fix for it. Extended rear lower mounts.
