I wanted one also, actually wanted an ESP but they werent taking any orders at the moment and from what I read their waiting periods are really long ...

on a note, I had a b&m short shifter had around 4 track days and very very little street use on it. On the last track day that I went , the thing broke, it snapped ... I emailed them like 1 month ago, no response.

which is ESP? B&M's I thought had that rep, not really good for duty. I have a SK2 dual bend and I love it, but I'm thinking of upgrading to the Ktuned one.

Explicit speed performance. They make traction bars, strut bars and alternator brackets to order.

I have the B&M ready to go in but do want that KTUNED. Which were you eyeing the standard or race version?

Oh yeah, okay I remember ESP now. I like their stuff, but I'm not a fan of the square tubing used, even though I know they prolly are better for it.

Plus I cant use a 3 point bar.

I'm thinking the regular K tuned, I dont profess to be a hard core track rat, so I dont think i need the other version yet.

With you one the ESP and Ktuned.

I need a upper control arm for my project car on the driver side. Think ill probably replace both at the same time.

What are you planning on going with? Not doing mine just yet, but wanted input.

Also found my little side-to-side shifter issue. The top of one of the dust boots, got pinched and destroyed into the ball/joint/pivot. I pulled it out, lubed it up well, pulled off the damaged part of the boot, and reinstalled it. Both boots together should keep crap out, and it feels better.

I am very close to ordering my k tuned shifter though. As much as i like the dual bend S2 shifter, I would appreciate a little more height.

I think I'm just going to get the Moogs from rockauto. There only $38 a piece. After all the camber kits I'm not really sold on any of them. Plus the cost is pretty high.

For your shifter what about a extender like the circuit hero versions?

Not sure, never really thought much about it, I'd rather get something complete, rather than tacked on. I know adrian used one on track, I'd prolly want to see what exp he had.

Additionally, i think with my dual bend, it might tilt it forward to much. from what i've seen the K tuned has pretty good placement.

The K-Tuned does look nice from pictures. Never seen one in person. Will be on my list of upgrades though. Check out this video too. Shows a little bit about them.

Nice!! Is that a custom mounting plate? What's the billet piece off of the VC?

QSD makes the MSD coil mounting plate. And Evolution Industries makes the PCV relocator on the valve cover. Basically for more hood clearance. Any room I can get will be nice.

Nice, I wish I had more on the performance front - I have enough to order my shifter - but debating one of the more 'fun' options -

1. Redrill my Ewing Fins so I can finally run them.

2. Sell the Ewings and get a set of the Enkei RPF1 in 15x8 from GoodwinRacing

3. Sell the Ewings and get a set of 15x8 Rota RB's and put the extra money elsewhere

Thoughts? Still keeping the Type X's for auto X

I like the Enkeis for sure. Eventually will end up choosing between them 949 racing 6UL's and FFD motorsports wheels. Wheels will most likely will be the last part of the build.

Don't think I would get rid of the Ewings to fund some others though. Would be nice to have them for cruising.

Done deal, I'm going to redrill the Ewings - use them for cruising, lol. The X's will remain my daily and auto X wheel for now.

I'd push in the direction of the Enkei's over the 949's for the simple reason that the enkeis would be more readily available - the 949's seem to have to sporadic a production schedule for replacements if needed.

BUT I think that now that 949 has limited their size options, they may be able to keep more in stock. And dont forget the offset difference - 28 for Enkei vs the 36 of the 949.

You can always get up to 5MM shaved from the mounting pad to adjust the offset if needed.

Will post pictures tommorow but I got the NTN Timken wheel bearings and Moog pro series lower ball joints installed. Local firestone gave me a pretty good deal since I brought them the knuckles.

Waiting for install. Ordered a pair of Moog upper control arms and swaybar endlinks yesterday. Should be here next week. Maybe get one side on then.
