Good point. Didn't even think about that part.

In other news I got my Recaro EVO passenger mounted last night. Had to modify the bottom of the seat slightly as they have a spacer. Also modified the slider since the holes for the seat mount were off by a 1/2". In total it took about 4 hours. Next time I could probably cut that in half. Fits perfect and I have the seat as close to the console as pssibble.

Bracket and slider. Bracket is made in Redmond, WA. Pretty awesome if you ask me. They are also universal for other sliders and seats.

Seat in.

Haven't installed them yet. Probably will this week though. Quality looks good and they were considerably less than function which they both use ES bushings. I did get the anodized gray version instead of the bare aluminum. I think the Olive Drab would be cool as well. Will install Thursday and post pictures.

Drove down to Orlando for the first auto-x at Orlando Speed Wolrd, unfortunately the rain wouldnt let up and eventually flooded out the track. So I got to chill with Gavin Gardner, Cameron aka "killacam" and a few of there friends. Was a good time and those guys are as true enthusiasts as it gets!

I regret not moving the garbage can now..sorry Cameron!

EF brothers i need your help.

I notice my engine still rocks quite a bit even though I have the innovative 85a mounts, which is suppose to be a street/track stiff setup.

Anyone every experience something like this? I took a vid with my phone but dunno how to upload it to my computer. When I hit gears, or get accelerate quick off of first gear I notice and feel alot of movement. Even my shifter moves alot. Reason for concern is that my supercharger pulley hits the frame rail.

Replaced sending unit fuel meter today and the gauge needle went up a bit past full mark ! Looks like a more accurate reading now since I fueled up 28 kms ago.
Since 2006, I would fuel up full tank and the needle would never touch the full mark and also the needle would show below empty, and it still had 12 litres left !

I think Honda updated these sending units because the originals could have been inaccurate ? Who knows.

JDM, not sure on that one, I'm sure someone else will chime in on that.

Rob. - that was how all of my civics had indicated full, just above the full mark. It would also take a while before they dropped from that mark in most cases

JDM- as far as mounts how long have you had them? When I went from stock 20 year old d series mounts to hasports the engine would barely move after. The car had a noticable vibration because of the stiffnes (60a durometer). Shifting was much easier as well. I would guess one of your bushings is shot. There are some threads on the interwebs that show this issue but you should be able to either remove and send in for warranty which Hasport does. I would hope innovative would do the same otherwise buy a new set of bushings. Are you running a front mount at all?

Gavin Gardener and KillaCam through this video together using the footage from all of our GoPros. It turned out even better than I expected considering most of the footage was at night. I had a great time hanging with these guys even though our autox event was rained out.

Rob- not sure about the gas guage it looks normal to me. I think I would question the cluster more than the sending unit. Seems most hondas do what your picture shows exception being the tach less models like dx, cx, lx where the fuel and temp guages are huge.

They are practically brand new, got them last year and the car doesnt get driven much, but tracked once in awhile. I'm not running a front mount

I've talked to a couple of ef guys running hasport with no front mount and they say its fine. I'm wondering if innovative is just not a strong mount period

Sorry i meant the actual icon on the cluster. Mine has simplified outline of a motor, but i see Rob.'s has text that says "engine XXXX"

Just wondering what the text says.

I have Hasport mounts in my car, only have the two side mounts and the rear T-bracket. Motor hardly moves at all. You definitely have a mount issue. I couldnt tell you which hardness mine are though.

Yah Def something fishy with my mounts. Update I went lapping this past Friday and ended up breaking my shifter bushing and bracket. I think it was because of the excess movement of the engine
